The reality is that power only heats a coil, it's the airflow & wicking that controls the temperature.
It's no different than your car engine. Combustion heats the engine, and it's the cooling system that keeps it at the proper temperature (airflow & fluid flow).

I just splurged on a new Kanger Tech Dripbox Starter Kit. I have a few mech systems and RDAs but I have a tendency to flood the RDAs and make a mess with them. I can't afford a REO or any other squanker type system. After my military discount, it was just under $35 with a free 20ml Space Wars - Jave The Hut juice, a nice coffee flavored juice. So far I am enjoying the new mod. The deck is a dual coil rebuildable system. The kit comes with an extra set of coils on a deck, a USB charge cable, spare juice bottle and extra screws, coils and a really lovely blue screwdriver (lol). I do believe I will be very happy with the addition of this kit in my vaping supplies. With the bottom feed in the topper when you squeeze the juice it loads the coils and when you release the bottle the excess juice is sucked back inside the bottle. I will give this little system 5 stars.
What confuses me about the Dripbox is the fact that you can't adjust the voltage/wattage. Does it vape hot?

See...I TOLD you guys that they only need a bit of TLC... the one on the right is the final itteration, and the one on the left is the one where the eyeballs didn't print out. turned out just fine.

Not at all. The air flow is adjustable and I have it set at about the halfway point and get a very enjoyable vape. One other thing that I noticed is the fire button lights when you press it. If the light flashes it is the low voltage warning letting you know it is time to replace the battery. I am really liking it.
I think at this point I’m 22 pages behind. I’ll try to catch up tomorrow night or Sunday when I get back to my computer. No way I can catch up right now.
There is legislation pending that would ban ecigs from carryon luggage. kewl!!! Glad you're really liking it! Do bear in mind that Rob has budget Reos and Blemished ones that are cheaper. And if you end up really liking squonking and really wanting a Reo but can't save for one.....let us know, or let me know. Bet I could help ya out.

this just burns me up!!! I do have one question about the link.....they're saying ecig stuff in checked baggage is already banned, I thought it was only batteries that were banned. I know many mods have internal batteries. But is that the only ones that are banned from checked baggage? Just wanna make sure I word correctly.

Update on the ITC Vapes juice. The Turkish Blend was great stuff and I will order more. Not so with the Silver RY4. It has this cloying flavor component that is reminiscent of many other juices I tried in vape shops. It's very sweet and the scent hangs in the air. I was already getting tired of it when my wife told me it was filling the room with a sickly sweet odor. I had already noticed that.
So, we opened the doors to the deck and turned on the ceiling fan. I extracted the juice from the tank with a hypodermic and put it back in the bottle. The scent was way strong, so much that when you walk outside and come back into the room it's overwhelmingly sweet.
It's possible that one 120ml bottle could make 3 or 4 lightly sweetened bottles if mixed with the same nic strength plain pg/vg mix.
I'll keep the Turkish Blend, but the Silver RY4 is going to sit for a while. I may not ever try it again. I had to pull my Kayfun 3.1 apart, wash it thoroughly, dry burn the coil, and re-wick.
I went back to my Hangsen Tobacco for a while.

Confiscation-ating at da air port. I hate that there is absolutely NO option to have it shipped to where you are going or even home. Sorry but I think that's theft.

Yes. Does this stupid amendment ultimately mean that online sales of batteries will be banned? That's the only logical conclusion.
Letters (via email) written and sent.
A few batteries in isolation are not a significant problem. Many batteries together are, as this triggers a chain reaction.
Since cell phones, laptops and tablets all use the same/similar battery tech, they should also be banned, yes?!
One of the points I made in my letters to Senators. Then asked if Senator Blumenthal was suggesting it's better for the economy to force folks to buy new phones/laptops on arrival at their destination

I agree with it being theft. Some suggest taking a prepaid priority mail box addressed to you or where you are going with you to put anything in it that they confiscate......but then you have to get out of line......go find a place to mail it.....go back to security etc. I will have my son with me, so he can take anything that they try to take. Folks might end up having to mail their gear. and that's ridiculous!
