How to make a PV holder.....
this took 6 tries to make right... You saw my "footprint" a few days ago, but here today, I have finished the upgrade of my BIFF holder, and I wanted to share the process with you all. Lots of detail, but really not that hard.
first... I made the PV hole for the wrong size PV, and was able to stop print before it got too far.

second and third
for some reason the eyeballs didn't print... a bit of spackling will fix that. Probably. but putting the eyes in, and they came up all messed up. a bit of sanding will fix that. Probably.

fourth and fifth.
the walls here are too thin... try to get the long one fixed, and it worked, so then to get that one on the side fixed.

And finally - the last and working model that I can post to thingaverse with pride.

I will be painting all of these, I guess.... Unless someone wants one to paint themselves... just pay shipping. that last one is mine though! :D
Mission accomplished!

Well, it turned out to be today that I made some joose using the FA Custard flavoring, again at 9%, and I'm vaping it as a single flavor joose.

It does not taste at all like my nose thought it would taste. That's good, because my nose wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. I don't know if it's a true custard flavor, and when I say that I mean I really don't know. I just haven't eaten custard much. But the taste is really good, natural, tasty and clean, with the ideal amount of sweetness. These comments apply to vaping it in my Kanger Subtank, which currently has a 1.2 ohm pre-manufactured head in it.

In my Aspire Nautilus with a 1.6 ohm BVC pre-manufactured coil head, the taste is completely different; OK but not great. It tastes less sweet and more smoky, kind of like FA Coffee Espresso actually. Coffee Espresso as a single flavor is not sweet enough for me.

With both tanks I'm using 10.0 watts. My theory is that the additional airflow I get through the Kanger Subtank is what creates the huge difference in flavor. The smallest airflow hole setting of the Subtank is larger than the largest airflow setting of the Nautilus.

Please quote my post if you want me to see any questions or comments because I don't keep up with this thread.

@Diver9543 and @LittleBird
Now let that juice set for a few days & the flavor will deepen. It gets better & better.

Omg, unbeknownst to me, my husband, in his worry that I might go back to smoking, ordered 3, count em, extra starter kits from vaporfi. All sub ohm, all non adjustable. And so long ago, that I can't return them. So for the next year at least, I guess I'm using vaporfi vice and edge machines. I talked to vaporfi, the only useful, if too late advice she had, was not to overcharge the battery as that could be casing a hot connection. Says they are sensitive to charging habits. .?? The thing itself doesn't show when it's fully charged, So I'll have to go by the clock and suggested times. I've probably damaged the 2 I'm using, I've not been worried about charging time, thought it would auto stop once fully charged. He's easily spent over 500$ au, and I can't really justify buying another until these are worn out. Hopefully, the bit of knowledge I've absorbed, and finding juice I like will keep me going. Good news is I REALLY don't want to smoke. Don't know how to post photos, but when he showed me my backup drawer of vaporfi stuff, I could have fallen over. He's an angel making sure I don't run out, but like me, doesn't have a clue about equipment. Oh dear. Send up a prayer that I don't blow myself up in my ignorance. So I'll just keep going and no point worrying. I've got what I've got. Simple to use, yes, to understand, not so much.
@Vape? Just keep those for emergency use. Go ahead & get the new ones & use those. We all have been caught in unforseen situations when we needed an emergency set up. And we all have stashes full of gear for if our favorite gear gets gov't regulated. Just leave those in the rainy day drawer. They are not safe for everyday use. Get something you don't have to worry over. Count it as a lesson learned. Hugs & points to hubby for looking out for you, too!

I am somewhat reluctant to say it but I think I skwooed up. What I thought was Hangsen flavor concentrates that I ordered from Slowtech now looks to be just a stronger flavored finished e liquid and not for DIY. Makes me wanna say wordy durds.
Oh no! I hated when I ordered juice & didn't get what I was expecting. Made it worse to realize it was all on me. Headbanging happened.

I ordered a couple things from Blackhat E-Cigs and they sent me a free 30ml bottle of Goats Milk 6mg. It is just delicious, not too sweet, not too custardy, it is just a perfect blend of everything. I need to see if I can make a clone of it.

got some 84mg juice ready to go??? And newp, that's not a typo!

Give dad plenty of hugs for us and tell him we said happy birthday!!! Geeze, can't believe it's been a year since the last one. Have a safe trip!
I needed every one of those milligrams for today's car ride. Husband driving, father co-piloting, me in the backseat chain vaping and neither of them knowing I was. :D I need a stealth vaping award.

Being pre-approved by TSA, I packed the liquids, mods (Spinners), tanks, Kindle, cellphone and medications (pills packed in mini ziplocks) in the bookbag I use as a purse and sent it through the x-ray machine. It paused in there and then was spat out the other side, no questions asked. Impressive. :)

When we landed I went to the smoking area and during the time we were there three other vapers showed up. :thumb: Two were TSA and we think the third was too, or at least some type of airport security. No wonder I can't get my bags pulled and searched for bombs.

At the motel, there is a sign posted in the room that there is no smoking, vaping ("cigarettes") or "other stuff" smoking allowed in the rooms, if you do, $250 charge. Um, BS. Don't do #1 or #3, let them prove #2. Room has a hint of bubblegum so Someone must have been vaping in here?

Odd, the other posts quoted got fowled up. On husband's weird computer.

Ken, your comment on Biff was one of them, I love Biff!

Bells, yours was the other that disappeared, thank yo for the flavor recommendation. I love vanilla, especially in coffee flavored juice.

Only 20 more pages to catch up.

I fancy myself to be one of those super-tasters who can tell where a flavor is headed simply by sampling it while it's still "raw". I'm not in reality one of those people, but I play one on the big screen in my mind.

Actually, I've never tasted a joose that got worse as it steeped longer, so since these FA Vanilla Classic and FA Custard jooses were good from the get-go, I felt there was no risk in giving positive reviews to both. Yes, they're both even better after they've steeped one and two days respectively.

When I was traveling to the Philippines - at one of the TSA screens my laptop bag was screened and opened for inspection - my little M80 stealth vape looked suspicious to them. The screener kept pointing to the pic on the screen and the lady doing the inspection kept pulling things out that did not match the pic - I stepped up and offered my assistance since I knew what they were looking at, but the lady told me to step back sir - after a couple minutes of her digging and not finding the right item and me still offering - the gentleman at the x-ray machine told her to let me show them - I went right to it - since it was in a small bag that was in another small bag - she kept overlooking it, but of course the person that packed it could easily find it... I was just happy that they did not just dump the whole thing out, since it would have been a pita to repack...

On my trip I had a lady that was walking by see a hint of my vapor - she came back and asked me if I was smoking in here - I asked does it smell like smoke in here - she sniffed a few times - said no - shrugged her shoulders and went on her way - thank you stealth vaping... :thumb:

The link below is an eye opener for lmr battery quality. What you get is sometimes not what you paid for. The tests show claimed vs actual MAH performance. Toward the bottom of the page are the really bad performers ... batteries we certainly don't want, despite their high current claims.

I appreciate it :). Lurk less and post more!

Sadly, the Kidney Puncher and ecf detailed reviews of Imren batteries are not encouraging. Evidently, they run hot, and the actual continuous discharge rate is roughly 50% of what they claim. I think I'm going to stick to AW's. Better to be safe, even if I have to change batteries more frequently.
Definitely agree with LB, quit that lurkin and post more! sorry those didn't work for ya darlin!

Mission accomplished!
Did you git ya a froggy???

I felt like dousing myself with Wesson Oil and diving on an acutely angled slippery slide with a rock wall at the bottom.
Hold the phone Nelly! It aint that bad! Sorry ya ordered the wrong thing. Hope you really like the juices though. Never tried any hangsen, but am glad to know they are super lightly flavored, that means I probably won't try them. I need stronger flavors.

I didn't know airports still had smoking sections! Glad everything went through security fine! Y'all be prayin they don't pull me out for special screening on the 13th or 25th .... if they treat me like a bad person I'm liable to let the Indian out and become one!!

Wow, that wuz freaky! That's why there are only 3 places I'm really comfy buying batts or chargers. RTD, illumn, and maybe orbtronics.

I have 15 or 20 18650 batts that I've accumulated over time. Most are AW, Sony, LG, and Samsung. I'll admit to owning several Efest 18650's and they have been good performers. Most of the Efests were purchased before the issues were exposed.

That said, I haven't had an issue with an Efest battery yet, but I'm a 10W vaper who doesn't push them to the limit and I tend to rotate them in a first in first out rotation. Batts just charged go into the right side of the battery box and are taken out from the left side so that they get to rest after charging.

These days I look for reputable sellers and I buy brands that produce good test graphs from Mooch and Torchy's lab testing.

yeah I do that too, cept opposite. Mine go to the left of the thing I keep em in when charged. I have 5 batts and can charge 4, and my batt case holds 4. I have to get new batts and should be able to come July. I will most likely get lg hg 2's I'm on a mech, so a fresh batt with my build is about 13 watts, goes down to about 11 as the batt drains.......I change it when it gets below 3.9

My Smok Koopor Plus 200W drains the batteries down to 2.9v before declaring a battery replacement. I'm more comfortable charging them at 3.5v, so I take them out when the Smok battery graph says about 1/3 left.

Mooch says that it doesn't hurt to run them to 2.9v. Charge rates start out high and then taper off as the battery charges to completion. I also run the charger at .5A most of the time for a slow charge, although 1A charging is considered safe.
