Beef & Taters was my fav. I also liked the Ham & Lima Beans (aka Ham & MFs). I didn't have to trade for the H&LB, da guys would just give 'em to me. Thank goodness for my lil' hot plate!

I'll tell you one thing I hated was the date nut loaf .. could have been a hokey puck .. and the spaghetti had to go IMO .. we used to dump all our cans in a big boiling pot of water to heat them up .. at times, being unable to light a fire and eating them cold was .. well, you get the idea ..

Man, this discussion is bringing back so many forgotten memories .. it's good to have you bros on this thread ..

Yep we are the last generation where most everyone served whether you wanted to or not. It was a good life experience for me but I missed the war by a couple of years so my experience is much different than you that served during the war. My younger brother pulled two tours, one as an Infantry Officer and one as a helicopter pilot and so I know how tough it was.

Your service is no less valuable, IMO .. my Grand Dad served in WW 1, my Dad was a 20 year man, so the draft did not get me, I joined .. my son, however, broke the chain .. his choice ..

There are few regrets for me .. I grew up, learned discipline, resolve, etc ..

Sandy have you tried the 1.7 single coil Ressurector or called by different name by different suppliers. It works better for me than the LR duals.

Yes, I have tried them.

Here's my preferences:
Love - 1.25 dual coil
Like - 1.50 dual coil
Okay - 1.50 dual coil GO GO clearomizer thing
Meh - 2.0 Boge
Nope - 1.7
Feh - 3.0 Boge
Yuk - Anything by Ikenvape

Sandy you must prefer a real warm vape. I prefer a little cooler vape so if you don't like the 1.7 there probably isn't a single coil that you would like. We are all definately different on what we like to vape. I guess that is why we have to try them for ourselves to find out what we like best. That makes all the suppliers happy and why I have so many different cartos laying around. lol

I've had a Lava Tube for a couple of months. In my experience, I like to use the single coil, 2 ohm Boges and most of my liquids perform best for me at about 4.2 to 4.5 volts. I sometimes kick it up a little. The 2 will vape without the kickdown up to around 5 volts on my unit. But that is too hot for me. It seems to wash out the flavor. I have been using 3's for my tanks at around 4.5 and at that setting the vape is superb for me.
