Dun dun dun! Provari Vs Lavatube Battle! I predicted this!
& I also am under the suspicion(just a feeling, don't hate me for saying this) that there are undercover provape folks making dummy accounts to talk trash about Lavatube and praise Provari. Saying no names, just too many people(brand spanking new accounts, no posts mind you) out of NO WHERE all of a sudden " OMG, i just bought this Provari it's sooo great". Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Provari ARE excellent It's just odd. I don't remember so much hoopla about them when I first started up here on ECF. It's been like Provari pandemonium as the Lavatube's debut came closer and closer.
There you go. Personally, I'm not going to buy any of these overpriced PVs. To me they're just nothing more than flashlights with shiny appearances. It's a rip-off to me. I'd rather buy a new cordless drill. I love portable tools even if I rarely use them. They cost about the same as these expensive PVs and I could easily see why they are priced that way. They have rotating gears, a motor, which in itself is a fairly complex device, sophisticated wiring, etc. Oceans away in their complexity in comparison to a flashlight... I bought a VV box mod to see what's all these variable voltage thing was all about. I don't even use the voltage dial now. I don't need 5-7V on cartomizers with 1.5 to 2.0 ohm ratings, which are the most common cartos you can buy in any e-cig store. I see nothing special about these expensive mods other than their price.
What disappoints me about these expensive mods is that they don't even have to invent special types of juice feeding system. All they have invented is the shiny housing. The first time I heard of them I thought they have a special kind of battery WITH special kind of juice feeding system... Naa. Until they invent a PV that fits in the palm of my hand, battery lasts a day or two, juice feeding is efficient, etc., I'm not going to be sucked into the hype.
Only reason why this new industry is not taking off as fast as it should is because of government regulations. We are living in a very advanced age. Every advanced country is supposed to have its own version of a PV far more sophisticated than what we have today.
