Provape will eventually come out with a VW model...perhaps alongside the ''classic'' so the comments about vs. VW are moot point :)

Why I dont own one (I dont hate it,so should I comment in this tread?)...mainly for the price vs what it is but being Provariless perhaps make my thinking a tad crooked, who knows. (I own APVs much more expensive,so its not a price per my ability to buy one, good deals sometimes in the classies..I just like stuff a tad more...er...exclusive!)

Why all the haters?
Everyone hates the Top-Dog unless your a fan.
Did you see Grimm Greens latest video? He resisted for buying a Provari for years... Then he had one to try that was to be given away in a contest... At 10:07 in his new video he says " I really really want a Provari so im saving up for one " .. I sent him a message telling him its about time you join the Provari club... He sent me a message back saying after tring one for awhile and then having to give it away, how much he missed it.
IMO nothing can beat a Provari for a consistant high performance vape...... Its a daily workhorse.

Yeah, you are right. All the Gennie, kick, and Darwin users are a bunch of noobs.

And seeing that you have a whole year in, I am kind of surprised that Evolv didn't consult you before they wasted all their time and money coming up with needless complications that don't do anything different than any VV device.

There is a little bit of sarcasm in there:)

uuuuuu did i touch a nerve there lol

by a year in,,i meant that is how long i have been off the stinkies,,been using the e-cig since 6\09

your o
pinion is totally irrelevant to this thread ..PERIOD !!

Oh, then it is even more surprising they didn't come to you for advice, clearly your good judgment has grown legendary in that time. :D

In all seriousness, this thread has been very informative about which posters are clueless so I can be sure not to follow their recommendations in the future.

For that I am truly thankful.

To think that prior to this, I truly thought ECF was full of goodwill and comraderie. Live and learn.

I bought one because all of the safety features and solid build of it. I also own 3 ego batteries that I also use. I understand about what one poster said about people being like apple fan boys or girls. I am one of them. Love my apple products. But I don't by any means think that other things are inferior to apple. I just prefer things to be solid and well built. I take care of everything I own so it will give me a good life. But I do understand why people are the way they are. Either way I think that there are PV's out there I would prefer but are even more expensive than the provari.

I remember that thread. Meh, I would just let it slide, every forum has these types of threads and there's always somebody to pop in and add an insult with no actual input (heck this thread seems to be trying to devolve too). You answered the questions asked in point form, didn't give any flak to one device over the other.

That said, I can see where the specific deleted comments came from. If there was some form of objective criticism then they would have at least added to the conversation.

Its the internet, people are anonymous and that can do unpleasant things to how they interact.

I have a friend here in Vegas who is a real peice of work sometimes. He bought a Mercedes Benz. Now when we all get together for kicks and he has to go somewhere he says I'll just get in my "Mercedes" where the rest of us just say I'll get in my car.
Could there be a similarity here? I read a lot of posts where people say "my Provari" as if that makes their posts seem like those of a pro.
I would like nothing more than to own a Provari, and a Galileo, and a Cube, GLV, etc....and one day I will.
But in the end when I think about it I'm SMOKE FREE and have been using nothing but a bunch of eGo twists.
Oh, but those high end Mods sound sweet!!!!

I like my ProVaris for one reason only. Accuset technology. Whatever number I set is what I get. Seems obvious, but currently, I haven't found any Chinese offerings that can match it. If you have found one, please share (charts/readings help). I have been looking for a friend who's looking to upgrade from the eGo twist. He doesn't see vaping as something to spend alot of money on. I want to recommend something that I'd personally use, and so far I haven't found a cheaper alternative that does what the ProVari does (Accurate readings only, I don't expect longevity out of a cheaper device, everything breaks eventually). Right now, there's nothing in between it seems to me.

Just finished reading this thread, and the linked original thread. Wow.

As a newbie (and a broke one at that) I'm very thankful for my Apollo SS mini Vtube. I didn't even know about the Provari when I got mine, and I wouldn't have been able to buy it even if I did. In doing some minor research, I really can't find a compelling reason to "upgrade". Variable voltage does it for me. I swap clearo's all the time, each one is different. 5 seconds, a couple puffs, and it's fine tuned for what I like.

My LT did just die unexpectedly, but Apollo is replacing it. No big deal. They're amazing with customer service. I think I'll be buying a Jugheads 510 Jalopy 5v Can Mod V 1.0 | Jugheads mod where I can trash it and not give a damn... but the SS Vtube was /solid/

The provari sounds nice, but it doesn't seem to give that extra $100 of value. That's a lot of juice!

Also, Baditude, it's worth mentioning that your first thread was more than a little biased. You extoll the virtues of the provari without doing any actual comparison points of the LT. I know they vary, but why not do an actual comparison instead of "It does this, this and this, and I dunno about the LT."

I agree 100% with this. And really, a basic provari is only $160, so it isn't like that much money for what it is compared to other PBS that don't have the record of accuracy and durability.
