Yes indeed, makes you feel good to help someone out
Glad to hear that. I was wondering how the resin held up. I’m a habitual dropper, all hardwood floors inside, lots of concrete outside. Eleaf has always taken my abuse. I even ran an istick over with the riding mower, not a problem.Hello, Shinys! Forgot to mention how my love for the original Crown tanks is rapidly growing lately...
I have been using the Crown Minis w/ 0.5ohm coils for my Picos Resins, since I stumbled onto them (way too late!) and they've taken quite a beating: I've dropped them numerous times on pavement, cement, & tile floors, and I've even (unintentionally) slam dunked one in a ladies room (forgot it was in my hand, when I flung my hockey blanket over the stall's door), yet the Picos w/ CMs survive!
I did notice one CM is having issues staying in TC and discovered something inside the 510 pin is broken (slides out easily, probably the slam-dunked one), yet it works perfectly fine in wattage mode.
Saturday, I'm out & about running errands and vaping unconsciously, when I get the beginnings of the dreaded dry hit... And it was a fairly new coil, too.
I fill the tank, throw the mod into my purse, and...
A few hours later, I'm feeling lucky, so I hit it... And... IT STILL LIVES!!!
The juice is Awesome Town's (The Sauce L.A.) Candy Cane (6mg), so it's quite clear, but very sweet. I thought for sure my CM's coil was complete toast, yet the full flavor is back!Last night, I thought I'd shove a Q-Tip down the chimney to remove any gunk that may be there (there was) and I'm still happily vaping...
HA, I may need a dozen more Crowns...![]()

I have a few OG Crown tanks stored JIC. Excellent drop-in-coil tanksHello, Shinys! Forgot to mention how my love for the original Crown tanks is rapidly growing lately...

EDIT: Some time later, scary, internal musings commence... "Gee, my rose gold Crowns are sitting around un-loved, just waiting for the perfectly match-y match-y mod to do them justice... I wonder what rose gold mods match them?!..." Internet search is imminent...![]()
I'm in maintenance mode but ordered 30ml/each of my 3 favorite Nude Nicotine flavorings - Watermelon Mint, OMFG It's Chocolate & Melon Madness (all PG free).
and here's another great article from Clive Bates (complete article) - Ten perverse intellectual contortions: a guide to the sophistry of anti-vaping activists

One thing you already said - no electronics, no adjusting, just vaping. Basically really only the insulator can break, everything else will work as long as you care for it. The experience is also different, a regulated hits very consistent, a mech will change as the battery charge goes down giving a different flavor and vapor profile, some prefer that. Please don’t misunderstand but I just can’t imagine putting a metal tube near my face that could explode if I messed something up accidentally. What is it about a mech mod that some people like?
It's only a problem if the number of picos is bigger than your age so you probably can still buy a few.
I kinda have a difficult time understanding why people would want to use a mech mod considering how dangerous they can be especially in the hands of the inexperienced.
I get that it must be great not to have electronics controlling things but they give me safety (hopefully).

For those that use multiple mods in daily rotation.
Do you have them all charged up and ready to run, or do you put batteries in them when required?
Probably for the safety aspect, batteries should be removed from mods that sit on the shelf for a day or two. But the convenience of grab and go with not having to put a matched pair in a mod is nice. The storage for all those batteries is another thing too.
I don’t understand how they work, and it would be unsafe for me to use one. But I get why other people like them. I mean, some people love old cars with none of the modern safety upgrades.I kinda have a difficult time understanding why people would want to use a mech mod considering how dangerous they can be especially in the hands of the inexperienced.
