I wouldn’t have gone either. Maybe in the winter... I’d like to be somewhere it never got cold enough to snow or hot enough to melt the shoes off my feet.
We get snow too. I love when it snows.

I’m really enjoying the Nudge 22. The flavor is intense!!! It’s now become my favorite single coil rda. It’s got as much flavor as my go to every day rda- my Kennedy clone. I think I’ll have to get another one for a regular mod. Now what color should I get lol!View attachment 758863
Seems like I've heard that's a good rda from somewhere....

I have some music shiny coming my way as well. The guitar I wanted was about $600 more than I wanted to spend today. It will remain on my radar though. This is what I ordered:

A Schecter C-6 Elite. This should be good for plucking around. :D

Oh, and to get this thread back on track, my Therion should be here tomorrow. :thumb:

So this happened in Webster Mass yesterday (35 miles away).
This is where I got the rig that helped me quit smoking 5 years ago.

Just some broken front windows, they got off better than some other businesses. Glad they boarded up and will remain open.

the vapefly horus. single coil RTA. nice deck which is easy to build on. good amount of air flow (shut off by 50% in my case). no leaks. 4ml. not crazy about the looks but it works...and it is shiny...

I kind of like the look. Somewhere between Art Deco and spaceship chic.

fogstar are doing samsung 25Rs for £3 today with the code 25RSale. based in the UK so maybe not much use to most of the folks around here.
picked up a couple for the stash (some of my 25Rs are approaching a year old) along with an INR21700T (30T).

Taking a trip to Sierra Vista, man, just for fun today. The husband hasn't seen some of it and I want to see it all in daylight. Should be a Good Time I'm hoping.

I am NOT going to suggest we look at rentals at this time, but I bet HE suggests it and then has a mental breakdown. LOL. So, I guess we'll just see about that.

I continue to talk him into selling our house I don't see any other mental scenario that doesn't turn out horrible.

Also I have found moving to be the suck generally but other than the grand move To Tucson (everyone was all planning it behind my back and I was nuts but also fervently trying to tell everyone we shouldn't and I was right) well they ignored me.

But it should be fun.

I was always a big Paul Simon fan so I kind of focused on picking. My Guild looks beat to hell because that’s what I always grab. I’m kind of looking for a decent practice amp though, I have a Strat getting dusty in the closet. I couldn’t play it for a long time after my shoulder screwed up but I think I should be okay to now

There are lots of good amps these days for not so much money. I'm partial to Peavy and Roland. You get lots of amp for a good price. The Roland Cube 60 in my photo a couple of pages back is one of my favorite grab and go amps. It has lots of effects, dual switchable channels, and a 12" speaker that sounds good and won't quit. I've even used it on outside gigs cranked up and it's loud enough to play over a loud drummer. It also sound good in a quiet room at low volume.

Check out Guitar Center and read the reviews. For playing around the house a full featured amp with a 10" speaker is fine. You can also jam with friends and still be heard. 40 watts is louder than you think. Rock musicians all over the world have mic'ed a 50 watt Marshall with a 12" speaker on stage and rocked out in large arenas.

Thanks for the info! I’ve never used a Roland. Peavy, mostly. Although my brother has some Marshals, but his are all, if memory serves, way bigger than I have room for.

Weird things afoot. LOL, the husband informed me, "You are the driver," this morning for our road trip. I wish he'd informed me LAST NIGHT like, I would have slept in a bit.

If he thinks this is going to stop me from spotting real estate he things WRONG. LOL.

Gonna have to get ready here soon etc. Leaving at 11 just creeps up on you so quickly. It's almost worse than "leaving at 6 a.m.. I mean I have done THAT routine, the awaken as quickly as possible with everything prepared the night before" on multiple occasions.

Leaving at 11, sort of nebulous feeling. LOL.
