@Pigs @charlie1465 and @NolaMel are the experts on rbas for billet box style mods, like your Abyss and Boxx.

But if you want more air than the Ether rba, there's a few different options for another rba.

My guess is the:
$25.90 SXK MOBB Mini Styled RBA Rebuildable Atomizer for Billet / BB / Supbox / Bantam Revision - w/ 3.5mm air pin at FastTech - Free Shipping
will be more your style.

There's also this one:
$22.90 SXK Exocet V2 Styled RBA Deck for Billet Box/SXK BB/SXK Supbox Box Kit - 316 stainless steel at FastTech - Free Shipping

But I'm not sure if there are any restrictions on what rbas you can use in the Abyss tank. So you pros above ^ need to chime in
Mobb came today (as did the Edge rta). Both are sitting next to the equally unbuilt Ether .
Hitt is airier, higher wattage than me generally. @hittman , have you looked at bridges at Gas City (Canada, but they also carry the clones like China sites). BB stuff moves through pretty quickly there, but they restock on the reg. Imwas able to get both my 60w BBs from them just by periodically checking. Super nice people to deal with too.

While putting it together again and trying to figure out the steamtuner top kit fill thingy the tank just cracked so now its unusable.
Will have to fill it from the bottom then,if i can get it to stop leaking that is...doesn't leak much but it does, guess i will figure it out eventually...
To be honest i will give it a couple of days and if i can't get it to not leak i will dismantle it,box it and put it in my crate of vaping gear.
Not in the right state of mind to be dealing with this *insert word that rhymes with pit*,just want to vape and not worry if it leaks or not.

So far the Juggy Mini has worked well, never have to worry if it leaks and flavor is ok...
Javi ....use the Exocet method I find it much better...here's a vid from @Robfisher which shows you how.....

Pretty much any bridge will fit except the Vapeshell. Just be careful about your vaping style. There are MTL bridges and RDL so get one that corresponds. If you like RDL I'd go for the Mobb which @AngeNZ posted above.

Hope that helps....

Morning shinies

One of my Abyss's has started draining my batteries right down. Takes about a day and a half but it's at zero volts when it's finished. I've contacted Sourcemore and they've asked for a video and pic...that's pretty impossible. They're just going to have to trust me on this o_O:nah:
Any ideas??

Have a great day everyone

You won't have a very long wait. Between the BB, Abyss and the Boxx, the Boxx is winning my vote
Another point on the Boxx - I'm kind of surprised it hasn't had more youtube reviews yet. Just a few from Todd, Biker and a couple of others.

I haven't tried most of my BB rbas in the Abyss. I just love the Ether so much.
Might be worth watching this

An email to Dovpo and or Suicide mods with the serial number might be a good idea.
A battery draining fully like that is seriously dangerous.

No, it is not OK to have a Li-Ion deeply discharged at all.

Here is why: When discharged below its safe low voltage (exact number different between manufacturers) some of the copper in the anode copper current collector (a part of the battery) can dissolve into the electrolyte. The copper ions (atoms?) then in turn can stick on to the anode during charging by chemical reduction and cause dendrites. The dendrites might cause a short circuit inside the battery. So basically discharging too much is as bad as charging too much. But the dendrites caused by overcharging is formed out of lithium.

I took the battery that I used first, that drained fast, and put an X on it so I didn’t confuse it with 40 other batteries. I watched it charge - all normal from what I could tell. I don’t have the equipment or know how to test it, but it seemed to charge just like every other battery.
Then I left it sit for a few days, and checked it in the charger again. Still at 100%.
Then I put it in a Colossal - worked fine. I used and charged it a few times. No problem.
Meanwhile I used a brand new battery in the Abyss and while it did use more battery than the Colossal - similar ohms and power - it wasn’t out of line, I didn’t think. Not like the first time.

Sometimes it seems to drain faster than other times. It’s out of rotation for now because I’m using stuff for reviews.
I rather thought it was just me, not the mod.

I’ve never had anything like that happen before. It’s not doing any other weird things - no auto firing, and when I check the screen everything reads right. With it acting weird though I wish the screen wasn’t on the bottom, I’d rather see it all the time.

They always ask for a video. Seems like everyone tells them they have no way to video it. And SM seems to accept that answer and replace the item.

But yeah, I put a fresh battery in mine first time and within 10 hours or so it was at like 30%. And you know how many single 18650 mods I use... all those Luna, Colossals, Dots, etc. I can run any of those for 24 hours between batteries and still be at least 50%.

I know someone said, awhile back, how low was safe but I can’t remember. I’ve only let them go to about 25% and normally not that low. I do charge till they’re full though, never seemed to be a problem.

Yup....same and I've been getting some fluctuations between batteries but that's probably just battery age and differences in drain speed. Whatever is happening isn't super fast....but it does need dealing with!!
I'm waiting for the next response from Sherry from Sourcemore. They'll sort it out I'm sure :)

It's 2.0 but probably better to keep it slightly above that. A battery that goes to zero is dead anyway and it's very unlikely you'll be able to get it back to full charge....that's if you're stupid enough to test these things....as I am
