Thanks for the response Letitia – TBH I have not spent much time into research. DIY was something I was always interested in but have not taken it much further than reading the few posts made here and perhaps a YT vid or 2. As for the scale – despite my lack of knowledge I agree, but will most likely source something locally. I have read and seen vids where they counted drips oppose to measurement by weight. I do have a kitchen scale, but it lacks in resolution….no 0.XX

The 60ml reference was just to compare cost, and a estimated amount I am able to make in total- not the amount I am going to attempt to make on a per batch. That will be gallons ;)

The kit is based around a strawberry cream recipe, so the flavours included, which are 6 different 30ml flavours if sweetener and marshmallow are considered flavours, plus 500ml of VG, 120ml of PG and 60ml of nic based VG. It is probably not the most economical way of getting into DIY, in terms of flexibility, but it is small enough for me to at least get my feet wet and experiment a little. Guarantee I will be purchasing other flavours to attempt at mixing up something other than strawberry cream. It should arrive later this week. 100% positive I will have a ton of questions.
When I make eliquid I try round numbers and make batches that can be measured with a jug. If you use 6 mg, why not mix 5mg? I'm actually making 10, 15 and 20 mg, round numbers are easier to mix.

It snowed today not that much but enough to count.

We are supposed to get 10 INCHES on Friday, I sincerely hope it is Friday NIGHT but probably not.

Because I see my psych doc Friday afternoon and I really can't fathom getting my Mazda 3 (It has those DUMB thin racing tires and you can't even put "realistic" ones on there, it's so low to the ground) back to Tucson through you know, 10 inches of snow.

I really hope I am wrong. The husband says I need a new ALL terrain vehicle he ALWAYS says that kind of crud when I am 1 MONTH away from paying off the loan.

I'm not disputing his rightness, it just... It's annoying.

Anna
Please, forgive me if I'm wrong...
Snow in Tucson? Really?
Yesterday a friend told me it's 13C in LA... IN LA!!!

I broke down and ordered the Double Barrel v3, in blue (just to be different from my other horde of black mods). I still have a black v2.1 new in the box, and two others that have seen many miles. I feel like I should let one DB go to a new home. It feels nice knowing it’s up in the backup box just in case, but how many backups to backups do I actually need? (If your answer is less than 30, move along quietly )

How many backups do you need?

General rule of thumb I’ve always strived to live by...

“Whatever you ‘think’ you need...double it.”

Man did I raid Provape before they closed.

I spent as much, in their last month, as I did the whole time they were in business!

As far as atomizers go, I’ve got three times stored away as I do in use...which is using at least one for every day of the week.

Wick/wire? Ha. I’m still not done with the bag of Koh-Gen-Doh I first opened almost three years ago...and I’ve got like 10 more in stock.

Before Lightning Vapes was banned from Amazon, I got enough wire to go to the moon and back...about half a dozen times!

If only I could master DIY juice, I’d be Vapocalypse-proof!

My provaris don’t count as backups, they’re essentials ;). I’m pretty sure I have enough wire and rayon to last me even if I make it to 150. Unfortunately, wire is cheap and great for rounding up an order to hit that magical “free shipping”. I moved on to using DTs for that. I’m sure I’ll need all 4 dozen or so .
Has anyone ever finished the never ending box of rayon rope? I’ve been lopping off pieces of this box for over a year and it still looks full!!

think there are 4 currently and none under £120.
That’s crazy. I got one for like 23 bucks. Given it was somebody’s beater and is black and has a bunch of scratches, nothing wrong with it performance wise though. But I’ve seen ‘em go in good condition on UKV forums for about 30 to 40 quid. It’s just very rare.

Morning shinies,

I thought so. Seems I remember something like this from before. Boot it in safe mode before or after I run it. Please explain and talk to me like I am a four year old because that is where I register in computer talk. I am running the microsoft scan that Tralfaz sent a link to and so far it has been running for 3 hours

Sorry for the short reply. I was almost asleep when I posted last night. Hope you've got it fixed now.

Have you tried Malware Bytes? Did it show up anything? What Windows version and browser are you using?

If you ever need to get into safe mode and are running Windows 10, here is the quick howto: How to Boot Into Safe Mode on Windows 10 or 8 (The Easy Way)

If the deep scan is not showing anything, as others have mentioned, it could be browser malware. As a temporary fix, until you get it cleaned, you could try installing Opera that comes with an excellent ad blocker and VPN out the box. If you are still getting popups then, it suggests the PC itself is affected rather than just the browser itself.

What you don't want to do is to install multiple anti-virus packages at the same time, otherwise your PC will slow to a crawl. Make sure Norton is kept up to date (if it is still installed and you want to keep using it). Malware Bytes can be removed once you've done a scan, as can Bit defender. Unfortunately, as there are so many different types of malware out there, there is no "one size fits all" solution, sometimes you have to use different products before they hit pay dirt.

I’d kill for 13c right now!

I have Florida family, one member who says “Well y’all choose to live there, so quit crying every time it snows!” Then also whines when it’s 50f. He’s moving up here and I can’t wait to razz him endlessly ( lovingly, mind you, very lovingly)

But Anna, I feel for you. I really hope it’s nowhere near 10”. I’ve driven in that much snow - the only thing my Olds was good for- and it’s no fun.
