Yep! If I get another and fix the 510, I'll get it from there.
get both the wood and ss, swap the 510s since reviews say its spring loaded, return the ss, and wait and pray they dont notice.
Swapping the 510 from the wood to ss is impossible unfortunately. Trust me I checked.
So is anyone utlising the 20x1 thread on the Hotcig SX version (wood or other)? Would love to know if it does indeed work and if there has been any problems. I am thinking the GP Heron would look good on top. I have only just heard and seen videos of this happen but not sure if it was the Hotcig or not.

Before I sent my wood sx zero clone back for refund I tried to hybrid with my 20x1 senio clone but it was a no-go. It would only get one or two threads down and then bind up.
The battery cap didn't sit flush. Seems mine was defective in this regard as others have not had this issue.
The wood swap is complete. I'm a happy camper. Kinda proud to say that the only authentic in this picture is my origen.
I've ordered the no-logo hotcig version, and will be replacing the board with an SX350 board I have waiting for a box.
The 510 on the Hotcig looks (and sounds) like a real pain. Has anyone replaced it with a Varitube 510?
Hope I don't get blasted for this question; but my searching produced no definitive answer.

Yeah, it looked like a major problem to me, which is why I returned it. The 510 it had didn't work, and I didn't want to do major surgery to try to replace it.

i ask because i also posted and asked a question on the following youtube channel reviewer and he vary kindly got back to me telling me that the cutoff time is 15 seconds .
i just wanted to be 100% sure on both ends .

Yeah I got mine from Focal, and yeah definitely 10 second cutoff, just tested it and timed with my watch. I've tested it a couple times and its always 10 seconds. Also I think the default cutoff for all YiHI chipsets is 10 seconds.
