Yeah this is true, I have an igo-l with an 1/8" air hole, its a fog machine but flavor is muted.

I have a kayfun conversion kit that will be here saturday :)

So the airflow is adjustable on these?

I plan to open airflow all the way up if it is and wrap my coil with little space between coils to keep the heat concentrated in the air stream.

If there is no air flow over the coil there is very little vapor, my post earlier only concerns the wraps of the coil that are one either side of the air hole. Try this with whatever atomizer, get it into position for a dry burn and fire and observe the vapor. Then do the same thing again only this time blow on the coil and observe the vapor. Any difference?
I'm not in any way attempting to bad mouth the kayfun(s), merely suggesting that the all the wraps of the coil work best if over the air hole.

Oh yes, I almost forgot, you can have extremely big vapor with poor flavor strength or backwards to that

I just want to share my coil setup for my Terminator-C. it's a dual coil 5/6 micro wrap on a cotton yarn. flavor is awesome!

The conversion kit gets its air directly from the connector just like the device you're putting it in. No air flow control.

If you increase a 1/16" air hole to 1/8" that is 4 times the volume (4 x bigger)
3/32" would be twice the flow (under same pressure)
I must be bored, misery loves company I guess, here's my crude drawing to show the above statement.
The large circle is 2" and there are four 1" circles, while they are not all within the 2' circle you can see that they would fit volume wise.

Interesting. I have been working on the theory that more vapor equals more flavor. Ergo the genies going through a lot of juice. But juice spit balls... hmm...

And Caveman, how did you remove the burls? I hope mine doesn't come like that.
i used a buffing wheel. I think the tooling was really dull when they ran mine. It vapes great now though and the flavor is out of this world. The best flavor so far of anything I have used. Now I want a kayfun lite.

No spitbacks here; although I already know from experience to arrange coil near air. It is very easy to achieve on the OddyFun. The deck is totally accessible and arranged nicely & the air is right up to the coil. Although it is possible to flood it seems to correct more readily than the oddy.

I have it working flawlessly on the mkb-ts with gg oddy base. I removed the carb screw to direct air control to the mod.

I can't believe how quickly I'm able to set this up. I enjoy putting the care into a nicely built oddy, but this OddyFun is certainly more convenient.

I think all-in-all this will be my vape day to day, and the oddy will see its use when I only want to cary one tank section.

In fact I feel I've reaced a sort of endpoint here as I'm so satisfied. I think you guys are going to enjoy this kit.

The only tip I would express would be to not get too tight with the center post because it cocks the whole rig. When the coil is installed, it helps prevent the positive block from rotating, so it's not really necessary IMO to torque down on the indsulators. It just needs to be snug, not so much fastenned.

I'm having a major case of, "why didn't I do this sooner..." !!

I always wanted to use a drip tip for the Oddy/Nautty/Term especially when driving my diesel p/u on these California roads. I swear I almost chipped a tooth on that metal MP a few times, and once I kinda punched myself in the lip with it.

Experiencing how nicely the OddyFun kit's recommendation for a drip tip adaptation worked out, I decided to dig up that old pair of Tobeco's that have really paid for themselves in terms of cannibalizing (not as a standalone atty); especially today. I compared MP's from the steel Tobeco kit and the plastic Tobeco kit and they are the same diameter & height. Then I compared them against the OddyFun MP's and found the Tobeco's to be very slightly larger diameter, but turns out close enough to perform the same drip tip mod.

I was able to locate and old SS XL Carto and gut it out until it's just a metal tube. Dug out the only Stardust I've ever vaped, now many months old, and grabbed the silly-cone thingy. Using juice to lube, the Carto tube slipped right over the tobeco MP and locked into place like it was meant to be.

Now my Terminator has a drip tip. The length is perfect for stacking two tank sections, and it doesn't look too long on a mid-mode either so long as the drip tip is a stubby. And the juice capacity is greater since tobeco's MP is made with less metal than the Rainbow's. Seems to handle the bottom bubbles better than Rainbow's also.

Why did I not do this sooner?
...to think there was a day I almost paid out the arsenal for one of those nifty Ithaka drip tip MP's.

It's nice to have a great vape-mail day... :) The conversion kit arrived, along with the brand-new Term C v2 & two extra ceramics I scored from a very nice guy on the classies for $40.00.

The piece which threads into the Term / GG base is somewhat rough, but still screwed-in nicely. I'll probably clean them up before full installation. The rest of the threading, and machining is very sweet. Here's the pics I said I would post:

hello all. I got my 2 conversion kits the other day and have been enjoying one of my nauti-funs since :)

question:
I tried searching to no avail...
where can i find full length clear window for the nautilus and full length metal as well preferably in the US. I have found the housings at rampage, but unsure which size is correct and have seen bad reviews regarding their shipping...
I want to maintain the same length as the stock housing.

here she is on my custom brushed Astro:
