Does anyone have experience grinding off the area that's raised sound the 510 on the base of the term-c? It annoys me that it's stopping the atty from sitting flush on my mech.

Get an MKB-TS and the GG Oddy / GGTS base to be rid of the Term C's 510 base.. ;) They're designed by Imeo to be used together, and really work well. :)

Here's a quick pic showing the difference between the GG connector and 510 connector on the Term C.. The MKB-TS will also give you the air-control needed for fine-tuning your vape.. ;)

I was thinking of trying to get the Oddy base and the hybrid kit for my Segelei 13.
The Oddy base is for the MKB-TS, threads into air control, upper tube. The SG-1 will go on the bottom of the terminator base & thread straight onto the 13's tube. I have the MKB-TS + ODDY base, airflow works & looks great. I also have 2 sg-1's on terminator-c's. 1 sitting on a #19 copper, the other sitting on a #8. All great devices & function is perfect.

Ah damn that's right , I forgot about the threading difference. I can deal with the 1/2 mm gap.

With the term and the SG-1 adaptor can you just get your airflow through the body of the mod in the vent holes and past the battery? If not where would your airflow come from.

I posted these in the Hercules thread, but I'll quote them here too... :)

I agree Tech....the termfun is better than all of them. I have only set up my Hercules with a 1ohm dual coil....but I can say I'm not crazy about it at all. Not getting any better flavor or vapor with the setup I have right now, compared to my Term-C. My setup is parallel 2ohm coils with 32g kanthal, 3mm silica wick doubled at the coils. Next tank will be crossed 2ohm coils, then will do a single coil. I do like the size much better, and like that I can use a drip tip if I choose (but I'm not right now). Design wise, this one tops the Term....but for right now it doesn't with performance. I have it on my Provari rit now because with dual coils it didn't work very good at all on the MKB. Not sure why, but I'm guessing its because pushing dual coils is taxing the battery of power, which to me would mean shorter battery life. Never really understood the dual coils personally.....I would rather have a single coil that performs well and gives me good battery life.

I'm going to try to put the conversion in it tonight when I change around the wicks.....but don't have high hopes for it.

    the discussion/forums there
I have one one the way, I'll try to see if there is anything different parts interchange, quality of machining ect.
I have the Rainbow and the GG to compare with. That's going to make 5 of 'em, I'm out of control or something.

I'm curious how you determined it's a Tobeco.

First it is not the same kit as stormy's rainbow made kit just by going off the parts. The Rainbow kit has steel/silver colored 510 contacts and the Tobeco has gold. I have also seen the Alibaba listing's. I am not saying it is 100% tobeco but its not a rainbow.

Would love for it to be a good clone ill buy 5 of them if it is.

Nice. Thanks for trying one out. I would buy a bunch of them if it is machined well and not a trainwreck like tobeco's ody clone.

If the clone is good, yeah: the price is within reach. There is still the issue with spare parts: ceramics, mouthpieces, tank-sections, etc, etc.

Btw, to whomever: don't bother saying "buy another one for parts" - most folks have a budget and a lot of us prefer replacing a part, rather than replacing a device.

I use the same budget I had when I smoked a carton of cigs a week before I quit almost 3 years ago... $220.00 a month. If it wasn't for vaping, I would still be spending that amount anyway... ;) I at least have nice vape gear to show for the $ spent.. Not just empty cig packs, ashes, and butts... ;) And I can sell any decent quality vape gear on the classies if I get tired of it.. Not so with the empty packs, ashes, and butts... :)

That's not to say I spend that exact amount every month.. sometimes much less. But it's available most of the time if I see something I really want..

If as with the Rainbow they interchange with GG Ithaka then there should be no problems with parts. I would expect Stormy will have parts for the ones she sells and then there's GG. But of coarse the parts must interchange and that will be known within 10 days.
