I'd be interested in a pic, if that also applies to a terminator.. It and I are going to come to an agreement, or it'll get sidelined until the nautifun arrives.

Instead of waiting to get some pics of my setup, I found the threads on the McKrinkle method:

I must say, it works VERY well... :)

I went ahead and setup another of my Term C v2's the same way this morning.. (Sorry no pics, spur-of-the-moment) This time, I made a NR / R wire 1.4 ohm coil out of AWG 30 with the XC-116.. Working great!! ;) I'm only going to use the MrKrinkle method from now on with these.. I'm happily blowing clouds.. :vapor:

EDIT: The dual-coil MrKrinkle Hercules is still leak free, and chugging along nicely also... :)

anyone got their hercules yet?

if yes, can you answer:
where does airflow come from?
is bottom flush or have the lip like the terminator/nautilus
will the entire ceramic cup/metal threaded piece from the terminator fit into the herc base?

many thanks if someone can answer :)

The air-flow comes through the bottom pin... Ideally, the GGTS / MKB-TS connector is best IMO.. The bottom is flush with no lip.. I only briefly fooled with trying a Term C rebuildable in the Herc, and it's not long enough to make the pin go through the base due to the Herc's auto-feed sleeve..

EDIT: I avoid using any of these 510 bases, and just looked at the Herc's... There's no lip on the connector, but, the threading does not go all the way up to the base.. May leave a gap in some mods

Well, I guess I'm doing Mr. Krinkle w/o knowing. The XC-116 didn't like bending those 90's, so I just did a straight piece across the top like those pics. The only difference with mine is I also put a single cotton yarn (really loose) in each side channels mainly to keep my (+) NR leg away from the lock-ring, and to hold the (-) wire in place a little better. It has brought to my attention that I've spent the last year with my channels choked off. I still had some good vapes, but I've entered a new dimension with the XC-116 Krinkle business.

Ever since I read DW saying some ppl don't even wick the sides at all & the Kayfun Convert has open channels, I got think'n the juice wants to get sucked up there (pressure differential as DW mentioned), and doesn't care to drain down so long as the top cap's sealed. So essentially, the more room the side channels have not filled with wick, the more the main top wick will get soaked.

I should add, in this configuration, I'm not opening JF Control as much as I used to & I'm using a dremmeled ceramic.

Naturally I was wondering about an Oxy-SS roll straight across the top also, but have never tried it. Guess someone else has and it looks good to me - will try soon. Perhaps this is how to get the House Blend into the Terminator. I only like that juice on SS wicks & I bought a ZAG just for that. Maybe I didn't have to.

I still can't believe after all this time, I'm still tweaking these Terminators. With all the parts out and about, this is like the IBM PC Clone of the 80's - Closest thing we have to an Open Source atomizer.

Thanks, technonut
i ask because i would like to use the kayfun conversion kit in one, but not interested if it wont work...

There was a solution which Vochu came up with that was posted a few pages back...

EDIT: I just looked in my kit bag, and there is a small O-ring, and long screw included which fits into the post.. ;)

Quick question. I'm running the Term-C with a GGTS base, and im still getting some leaking. I may not have it assembled quite right. How far should the center post stick out the bottom of the GGTS basr when it's properly assembled?

As far as possible without spitting or distorting the bottom o-ring, make sure to lube it with, at the very least, some e-liquid

Hmm... does anyone have an idea when Stormy's might get replacement ceramics for the Hercules? Like an idiot I already cracked mine tightening the nut down... ugh.
Did it crack from over tightening or because a screw driver was being used to tighten it?
I'll post procedure for tightening it later at work if need be.

I was using pliers to hold the gnarled (?) section on the post above the o-ring and was just twisting it by hand and i overtightened it and CRACK! It's together still and running and I only noticed it cracked at the top but I'm sure it runs the length of the ceramic.

Might just have to order some from VaporFreak and bite the bullet.

You can put a Terminator/Oddy ceramic assembly into the "Ithaka" base in GGTS mode only. Not with the 510 prt of the base.

you can get the ceramic at COV
Ithika Ceramic

Actually I don't think these fit properly. If I remember correctly, there was a video of the herc and ithaka side by side and it seemed like the ceramic wasn't interchangeable. I could be wrong. The video wasn't in English but you can see the parts didnt fit.

Let me see if I can find it...

*edit* start at 5:55 and to tell you the truth, it's kinda hard to tell which part belongs to which atty. even though he's getting one part on each side, I think he messed up a few times and forgot which goes to what side lol. If you end up getting the one from COV, let us know :)
