Don't know if this was mentioned before but I'm sure all who have MKB have noticed that the Hercules air flow ring is a little smaller and pretty much sits flush with the MKB now. I ditched the stock ring and use the Hercules one now. It's also a nice bonus to have the 510 as an add on to quickly check ohms on a Provari or something similar :)

I did the same thing...

I swapped out the rings, so now the MKB ring is in the herc and the herc ring is on the MKB. MUCH better airflow control. I think the oring in the MKB airflow control ring isn't the right size.

I agree, using the stock ring it felt a bit loose, the Hercules ring is much nicer. The MKB just seems to get nicer, especially with the Naughty and Herky out now. Very solid units.

Finally succeeded in getting a decent coil setup on the Herky, vaping pretty nice :) Still not completely sold on this welder I picked up need to use it some more.

The 510 was designed for small attys, cig-a-like stick batts, and eGos.. Can't beat the beefy GG connector IMHO.. :) I also enjoy juice control, AFC, and the ability to fill from the top.. ;)

The kayfun has built in AFC, no need to rely on the mod for that function.

I do agree that the 510 world has to go... dieing breed it should be. It sure would be cool if all our mods, gennys, and RBA's, and RDA's used a larger sized threading system.

Yeah WAKE UP industry!!! BUILD GGTS mount atties!!!

Can't believe with nearly 10,000 GG's in circulation, and Imeo's production ramping up as we speak, plus who knows how many MKB's, that there arent more atties to mount to a collector tank.

Or as modder, wouldn't it make sense to make a head that will accept GGTS mounts? (Thousands of Ithakas out there, and Herc too).

It also has an issue prone ball-valve filling system that I'm not keen on.. Along with potentially leaking down the side of one's mod through the side air-hole. I know "The Russian" 91% KFL clone does have AFC.. :) It's too bad about the 510 connector though.. I though about getting "The Russian" 91%, but to me, it's a step-back as far as connectors go. I'll more than likely run the hybrid-like GGTS connector until something better comes along..

The Vochu kit has been a game-changer in my vape-gear. :) It's a perfect marriage between the Odysseus & Kayfun.

I'm glaring at my terminator and.. It makes me wonder who could turn the outer-base for threads.. I won't know what's up with the 91% until I get it, but it beats the price of an Original Kayfun.

Also hoping to get someone on this side of the pond to consider making the Naughtyfun/Kayminator kits.. I love leveraging chinee-parts regardless how they like it.

Just grab yourself an MKB-TS, and the GG Oddy to GGTS base to replace the 510 base of your Term C, and call it good... ;)

After a very long wait, the Hercules is finally available in my part of the globe (Manila). I have to say, it's very well built. 1st build immediately worked, no gurgles, no leaks (I'm on my 5th refill).

Built it the same way as the picture dwcraig1 posted (kudos man!), 2 strands of 2mm ekowools for each side but only 1 strand each channel. Haven't tried the crossing coils with 1 3mm strand in between yet (don't know what that is called).

Yep, the oring on the positive pin is soft, have to change it on my next build.

All in all, very good clone. Good enough flavor (my term has better flavor still, don't know if it's only the build) and very good vapor prod just like my terms.

My terms are getting a very good rest nowadays.

Personally, I'd prefer to replace the bottom-plate of the top 3 atty I have to reassemble atty directly to mod: more adapters are just more adapters and the 510-threads on attys will always, always be the weak-link.

I just ordered a fusions mods SG-1 for my 13b, pretty excited for it. Now I just need to order a Hercules sooner than later. No point really in buying an MKB when I can use my Segelei as a hybrid.

I like regular silica better than Ecowool in this type of atomizer although I'm now wicking with mostly rolled cotton with micro coils.
My Term's have better flavor also but I've got it closer than in the begining. My Terms are also sidelined as I have two Ithaka's and three Ithaka clones. My main vape is none of the above either these days.

I just didn't like drawing air through the battery chamber with SG-1, although I did find a solution ( I'll post pictures when I have time) . The Sigelei solution is smaller than the MKB, but you sacrifice air flow control and the drip chamber.
