I seem to be getting in infernal gurgle that won't go away no matter what I try. I don't think it's overwicking because if blow out the atomizer and leave it with my juice setting it doesn't flood, but once I start vaping it the gurgle appears. I have a feeling it's condensation since it doesn't go away when I tilt it (bringing it to the coil) and I also get a stronger flavor if I leave the device pointing down, keeping the liquid away from the wick. I'm using a long mouth piece. Anything to be done or is it just something to be lived with?

I use both silica and ss mesh and haven't had a gurgling problem since I've figured out the juice control. I also use the long mouth piece. What I do is, prime the wick before screwing on the mouthpiece, screw it down all the way, fill with juice, and start vaping. Once I notice a change in flavor, I open the mouthpiece either one full turn if using silica, or half a turn using mesh and don't have any flooding/gurgling after that. Make sure the locking ring is tight too. I used to get gurgling also when I closed the mouthpiece too tight and the locking ring gets caught on it, opening the whole thing up and causing a very high resistance and massive flooding.

Maybe this can be of some use to someone, over in one of Stormy's Terminator threads Jazzytech posted about the mouth piece being off center in the tank top. When I read this I checked both of mine and they were centered. Fast forward to early this morning, I'm looking at my Term ,it's off the mod, I notice that the mouth piece is way off center, then it just starts leaking right in my hands. So when I get home I start checking how this can be. What I did find was the locking ring wasn't tight like I put it but the ceramic housing was still tight in the base, all I did was screw the ceramic housing in about 1/3 turns more and secure the locking ring. After assembly the mouth piece was centered again in that top o-ring. What happened here (why) didn't make sense to me but with it off center like that the very top o-ring let air in and as I've mentioned before these tanks work very similar to a cartomizer tank. I hope this can be of some help the somebody.

Yes. I saw ur post and I forgot to reply. DWs post that is. I vape dark tobaccos only and I go about 4-5 days. Then I remove the tank but leave the RBA in the base. Rinse under the tap Not totally submerge, but not very carefull either. Then pat dry and dry burn the hell out of it. I can easily get 2-3 weeks out of a setup
I gave it a try, wick/coil was only 24hrs old but heavily used and starting to slack off. My previous dry burns were done with out rinsing with water so I would get a lot of burnt juice with that process.
Your method works much better.

Everything is tight and the mouthpiece is straight. I've torn it down and put it back together multiple times with no improvement. Only thing I haven't done is rewick it as I'm out of wick. Woke up this morning and it was completely flooded.

Everything has been smooth sailing for me up to now, but all of a sudden I'm having a flooding issue as well. And this may be a total coincidence, but I'm at this same time have connection issues. If I tighten the Terminator down onto my mod like I normally would my resistance drops down from 2.7 ohms to less than .5 ohm. If I back it off a bit at that point it goes back to 2.7... Currently using the "Navy Lifeguard" method for terminating the negative connection.

EDIT: Update - I emptied the tank and disassembled the unit (kept the coil housing and coil together). When I unscrewed the coil assembly the nut that locks the positive connection in place was completely unscrewed. I don't know if it's possible for that to come undone when disassembling, but that's the first time I've had that happen. When I tightened that back down I noticed it was crooked, because the wire was wrapped around about 1.5 times so I remade that connection so that it made only one turn around the pin and now that nut is nice and level. In spite of that I don't think my connection issue is related; it appears the insulator in my mod is giving out on me  So, I dry burned the coil while I had everything apart and then reassembled. Everything is ok so far, but it's only been a few minutes.

@ ace, that bottom o-ring sticks to the housing and the nut and will unscrew the nut when disassembled %50 of the time but my thoughts were on it as far as your shorting problem but they were just thoughts, glad to hear all is well again. Be sure to lube that bottom o-ring with Vaseline or something.

When I wrap my silver NR around the pin I may go as many as 4-5 times around and I am careful when removing it because I re use it.

Also keep in mind that if you are screwing the housing into the base and decide that it is too far and back it off the nut on the wire may loosen at the same time.

I don't want to speak too soon because that's bound to jinx things. However, I think: solved the gurgling. The 510 positive connection was way off center, so I took everything apart and put it back together. That left the connection much more centered. I also didn't wrap the ground wire around the wick, just folded it over on the outside of the wick so it makes contact just the same, but perhaps with a slightly slimmer profile. I feel like straightening the connection is what did it. Now I am completely out of wick so I hope that did it.

Me too but down time is more than I could bear

I know whatchya mean. I used my genesis at work today, which got me though but I don't think I would build a new wick for it if I tried, been too long and sort of put that stuff out of my head. Needless to say, as soon as I got home I started fiddling with the term.

Now this is the problem I'm having with it....

Here is a thread regarding the gap with Provaris and there are quite a few options for a smooth "hybrid" look
