Ladys and Gentlemen, I do believe I have finally mastered the Terminator C V2 setup. Using the 3mm silica + extra piece at the coil setup, and adhering to a couple of guidelines: making sure the post assembly is screwed very tight into the cup assembly - and being mindful, if the need arises to unscrew the base, to make sure the post assembly and nut haven't loosened along with it; tightening the thread ring firmly; poking the top o-ring so it's seated all the way down before screwing the cap on... and then screwing it very tight. Easy enough, right? (then why did it take me so long?... the thick-headed man asks himself )

I'm confident in saying, as I sit here vaping some House Blend on a 1.1ohm coil (oh God, so exquisite!), completely leak/gurgle free for the last 2 and a half days (amazing... as far as my experience has gone), that the Terminator C has officially overtaken my Gennys as my atty of choice. Plus, something ........ alluded to in his pimp of the Mountain Oak Vapors deal, the Term C most definitely does burn juice efficiently, as a tankful in the Term lasts way longer than my gennys do.

I feel like I can finally stop thinking about what this thing is doing and why it's always messing up, constantly wondering what else I need to do to get it right, and now just sit back and luxuriate in the phenominal vape this device is capable of. I had gotten to that point with my gennys, now I'm there with the Term in spades!

Vape on, folks, and thanks for all the helpful information here within. My success has been granted in entirety from all the information and ideas in this thread.

And, as I think may have been mentioned before, but definitly bears mentioning again, learn from my folly... make sure to wash your hands before handling your wicks if you don't want to wait hours for your setup to break in... where I think that need mainly arises when you have to burn off the gunk you've soiled onto your wicks with your grubby fingers. Just sayin' :)

I'm not trying to brag here but I got acquainted with the Term and all of it's little quirks some time ago. I will call them extremely dependable as the last time one leaked for me was when I dropped it in the parking lot and cracked the base around the 510 and didn't know it. I don't know of any atomizer with a tank that can best an Oddy(Term) not even Oddys successor, close maybe but no e-cigar.

After using the Terminator C v2 for the last month or so, I do enjoy it very much. I still use my drippers and Genny's but this and my divers are the only ones I take on the go. After so much headaches from leaks and flooding, the thing that solved my problems was putting vasaline on the oring that goes into the top cap. I wanted to grab another seeing the sale at Vaporjoes.com. Unfortunately, they took it off their site, must have sold out or got in trouble for selling it well below MSRP. Guess I'll just have to pay full price because my wife is now hogging it all the time now.

That's one of the things that impresses me most about GG-style attys: they downright sip juice. I get through an entire work day on a full euforia (2.5-3ml), and the Term-c gives me at least an entire day's vaping. I was filling the RSST several times a day. I was actually going through quite a bit more juice using ViviNovas. It's a hidden bonus of these attys until you use them regularly.

There has been a great wealth of info and benefit to the community from your 'acquaintence' with the Term, dw, and your willingness to share your experience and experiment results. I'll brag for you, as much of my success has stemmed from your input.

And for all you guys out there, I'd like to make it clear that when I talk about the guidelines I now follow, it's not me, in any way, shape or form, that has figured out anything new about the Term... I'm just following what you guys have come up with.

If that's your wife in your avitar, well... I imagine she gets everything and anything she wants... :D

Yeah. I thought that was quite a prescient observation on Joe's part... especially as it's something I've been thinking about lately the more I use the Term.

As good as my Genny styled RBAs are, they are not on the same flavor and vapor performance level as my silica base designed RBAs and RDAs.

I have noted the same with regard to juice economy.

LOL yeah, that's the old ball and chain next to me. Yes, she is kind of spoiled at times. Funny thing is she was putting up a fight when I decided it was time for us to quit the analogs and switch to e-cigs. Now she thanks me all the time for making her quit.

Absintheur posted this knot in the Diver thread and I'm so excited how well it works. This is so much easier than the square knot the Diver uses and, for me, will even replace the twists for the Terminator. Anyone else want to try it?

The knot they use in the diver video hasn't worked well for me...

Would love to see the knot you are talking about, but it isn't showing in your post.

Interesting knot.

I just twist the ends enough that I grip it with a pair of needle nose on the side. Then I give the two wires a nice hard tug and then grip the end with about 1mm of space before the join. Using the side of the pliers to wrap against I do four firm loops around the wire join and then trim right beside the knot. Works pretty well and I almost never have them come apart.
