I run single coil in all my gennies and drippers, using ribbon wire though. I also dont use U-wick; i braid small tubes of mesh into a rope and use it like i would use silica. So far it is amazing and pretty much doesnt leak. Rebuilding a perfect wick and coil setup is not all that tough for me either.

Im also not into bragging about how low my resistance is either - i never see the point of people doing that. Its not about how much power you put in, its how much and how effective power is transferred into vaporizing your juice.

How about the basic: vapor output, taste?

Good for you! 10 points to Gryffindor.

Vapor output is probably average to a little above. Not like dodeca coils in a Nimbus; but still better than a non-rebuildable 510 / 306.

Taste is amazing.

The only atty I like better than the Term-C is the Kayfun, just because it's more consistent and self-regulating throughout a tankful of juice. With the Term-C you might have to fiddle with the juice control from time to time to compensate for pressure changes as the juice gets used up.

But for 1/3 the cost, the performance is stellar. Plus, the Term is easier to disassemble and reassemble -- no screwdrivers needed.

One notable aspect is that the Term draws air through the 510 connection, and you run your coiled wick directly over top of the air's path. This is optimal for full flavor and warmth. I think you'll be satisfied with the taste and vapor production.

Term-C is still pretty darn expensive though compared to the Genesis clones out there... $50 around there? Idk if i want to fork up that much just because it matches my mod lol

Edit: huh, thats interesting about the wick position. But thats not different from say an eVod right?

How much did you blow on smokes per month before you started vaping? ;) You could get a real GG Oddy from the classies for around $150.00-200.00 instead if you can find one... :)

Hmm. Just remember what you used to spend on smokes, then tell yourself you're worth it. :)

Edit: Technonut: GMTA.

Stormy's seems to be out of stock on the Term-C, but I did read recently that there's a co-op for them running on Facebook at $24.95 each.

Anyway, the Term-C does have a bit more engineering involved than most Gennies. You might also justify it by the cost of SS mesh versus the cost of silica.

How do you guys compare a Term-C to a Genesis style in terms of performance? I want a Term just because it matches the Sigelei 19 and the mechanism intrigues me, but not much more than that...

Gennies have a clean, bright flavor. The Term-C has a rich, saturated vape. The term does better with my sweeter or more complex vapes. I use my Term with my Sigeleis all the time. It's nice to be able to lay it down or stick it on the seat in the car.

You're right, and lots of people live to rebuild their eVods, Vivis, Kangers, etc. They don't match your mod, though :) Plus, no juice flow control. And there's a lot to be said for the feel of stainless steel as opposed to cheap aluminum and delrin. The Term is certainly not a clearo in performance.

Is it the same as the Nautilus? Thats the on,y thing i see on OKC vape.

Yeah. Stormy's has a better deal (with coupon code, when they're in stock). But the Nautilus and the Terminator are two names for the same atty.

Is it the 7ml or regular?

Man i wish there was a nice cheap Oddy clone boom like the cheap Genny clone boom. Ive already spent too much this year.

You could pick up this one made by Tobeco for $26.95 (There's a coupon floating around to knock even more off) ODY Clone Blow OUT! | Silica Wicks Personally, I think it's a POS, but others have had luck with it...

EDIT: Hell, it even looks to be pre-coiled, has a clear tank, and has wire, wick, and spare o-rings..

I'm tempted to get one just to play with....lol I have the kayfun upgrades coming eventually for my terms, which both will have GGTS bases on them, so this might be good for the stealth cap. ;)

Oh come on man!.. Now you have me thinking about grabbing a couple, and then getting back on the list for a couple more Kayfun conversion kits to fix em' up... :D I already paid for the first Kayfun kit, how about you? Shouldn't be long before I'm in no NR wire heaven... ;)

That blowout is actually what brought me here in the first place. I heard the Tobeco clone is POS though, you guys who own one have any thoughts?

I have 2 of the Tobeco ody clones... 1 was great out of the box. #2 is buggy and leaks. I am saving it for spare parts. I have 3 of the good Terminator-C's BIG DIFF. Hands down the ody to own, unless you have the xtra money and can find a real one in the classifieds. I am waiting for Stormy's to get more Term-C's + large clear tanks are coming in stock. The Tobeco is hit or miss, nice starter piece.

I havent received payment notification yet, but I am #127 on the list...not sure where you were on it. I knew I would want them, just because of the ease of set up and no more NR wire, so I got two to go with the two terms I have with GGTS base. Now that I think about it, I wish I would have ordered three, so I would have one for for the 510 base term i have too. Unfortunately I cant afford to add anymore. I have the money for two units set aside already in my vaping budget from my last sale.

I never saw even a listing for the "Kayfun Upgrade", although I did try to follow the polish thread. Anyone got a link for prices, options and availability?

Yeah, when Stormy went OOS, my plans all got snarfled.

I think you need to be registered at the forum to see the list:

    Zaloguj | E-papierosy-forum.pl

    The normal thread is here:

    Upgrade Nautilusa | Kopie / Klony | E-papierosy-forum.pl

if you'll copy the link to the page and enter it in a "BING" search engine, it will translate and continue to translate each page thereafter. Google will only translate that one page, then if you click on a link it goes back to the polish wording.

I was # 98.... Jeeze! The list is up to 216, and still open... I hear you about the vape budget.. So damn many cool toys coming out lately.. I now have to put aside for the upcoming Rose RBA over at UK Vapers.. (Pretty sure their 150 slots are filled now) I'm REALLY trying to be good.... ;) Good thing I'm happy with my DIY Hangsen tobacco mixes...
