And a new thread is about to be born............ ;)

My dear down underer, I get it, and I'm sorry for you that you cannot have pre-mades, or any orders more quickly. It DOES make sense to DIY, and were I upside down, I would most likely opt to buy those weird lighted headband glasses and do the same.

My apologies for being less than sensitive to your situation.
No apologies required ;) ... I'm a born tinkerer anyway :D

why do you think I use 30% flavoring?

Do you worry at all about using such a high percentage of flavoring?

I can not give you science. I can not even quote an article. But something (everything) tells me that the lower the percentage of flavoring, the better. My humble opinion only. And I'll continue to trust my instincts on that.

I don't add nic to my test batches till I am pretty well satisfied with the flavor.

Oh I always add the nic, because having it or not having it can change a vape considerably -- because if there is no TH, to me that is not vapable, and without nic, there's very dang little TH if any, even with high PG and Flash added. I use so little WTA now that the presence or absence of it won't change the flavor at all, and it's way too expensive to waste. Plus I'm trying to make the last 2 bottles -- unflavored and Kiss of Sweet -- last until I'm done with my step-down, so I don't have to get into that emergency bottle in the freezer and buy another emergency bottle. :D

On the other hand I go for as little throat his as possible. Why I do 50/50 or 40/60 and low nic.

Not too much, no. I know it might be one of the reasons for the exacerbation of my asthma, but having ejuice I can actually taste is worth it to me, as motivation to keep vaping. Before I started making my own, all pre-made ejuice tasted extremely weak to me, and I already added extra sweetener to pretty much all of it. But if I don't *love* my vape, I have less motivation to vape it; if I don't vape it, guess where my mind goes... Walgreens still sells Virginia Slims, after all. ;)

I've experimented a little with decreasing the flavor just slightly in my strawberry & cream, the one that's about 30% flavor, and I've managed to bring all the flavors in it except the sweetener down by 5%, and it's still pretty much vapable -- though I seem to get "vaper's tongue" more often, it also gives me less gunk on my coils, so it's a worthwhile trade-off.

You started this 20 days ago and already on page 105? OMG!

I'm considering picking up a Subtank Nano since the Nautilus heads are no longer available here. So far I'm vaping on rebuildables and GS Air, and digging into a Nano and an Ego one, heads widely available here. Anything I should be aware of?

Got barns hanging full of it around here right now. Need to get some scraps when they start stripping the leaves from the stalks.
Another thing we don't have anymore ;) I'd grab cured leaf if I were you else you could end up with grassy flavoured juice

And we're off to a good start.

Andria, do yo thang. Walgreens vs. 30%. Take the 30. Thanks for your insights.

@Katdarling while you are here. I am enjoying the vapeprods. They work very well in standard tanks.

(Once I did the blue oring on the coil trick......oops finally read the manual)

Oh hellsbells, XX, I don't even recall the blue o ring trick! PM, dear one?

I have tried them and @5cardstud (at least I think it was Mr Studly) uses them in the billet box. Because I only take short Vapes I flooded them quite easily so I couldn't use in my billet box and normal tanks. I also can't use them in my elegance tanks because when you take the cap off the air pressure change dumps eliquid on the coil :(

They work beautifully in regular tanks for hubby who takes long lung hits.

Nature Vapes have an after market one that is rewickable. It's a bit expensive but it gets good review.

The other option is the Boge RCB filler less carto. In the purple packet. They are dual coil and work but I prefer single coil.
Ce3s worked very much like that, but I could never get them to work in a tank. I'd punch a hole on them (those were plastic) and never worked. Get a couple Ce3, see how they work and if you can rig the chimney and the plug to work with the Billet Box.

You showed me the video :p
You have to switch the silicon oring on the aspire coil with one of their blue ones (I have others that work from Fasttech). If you don't......the coil spins a bit in the tube and undoes itself and dumps a tankful in your lap.

It took a while for my brain to think that through. I felt a bit of a wally when I finally watched the video
