Here is the size difference between the 2.1 mini and the KFL+. To realize how small the mini's base is, the regular KFL chimney will screw onto the lower threads where the tank goes. :D

Built with a 28g Ti coil on 2.5mm 0.45 Ohms, a nice warm vape at 15W. Since the eVic VTC Mini has trouble with temperature control, if you run a Ti build in Ni mode it seems to work longer before the anemic vape bug kicks in.

I didn't get any pics of the build but I will when I refill it, wicked with Rayon and using a trimmed 70/30 split of shoulders vs tails.

Wow! I thought I was the only one who prefers silica.
I do not like Kangers new occ coils at all

You are not alone. If anyone knows where I can buy the original Aspire BVC, not Nautilus, coils with silica please let me know. I will run out in a few weeks. The cotton coils either have no taste or taste like vaping a t-shirt. The boxes will have the "Scratch and Check", which is on the back, printed in black instead of red.

I do. Heavens gifts. Look for vapeonly BVCC they are the same coils that were rebadged in the early days. They have announced they are having a store wide sale starting Monday so I am waiting to see what price they will be. I have just received a batch of the 2.1ohm and they are definitely the right ones. Make sure you use forum coupon codes as well.

I forgot. They also have an application for iPhones and iPads. There is an automatic 20% off for the first order through it. :p

Just a proviso I have only personally checked the 2.1ohm. I was told the others were old version but the 1.8 sold out as soon as I mentioned it 200 were restocked so I don't know about them. I was watching the stock levels because I am waiting for the sale and didn't want to miss out  The 1.6 were also there when I bought the 2.1

Yeah, I did, but it was a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE pain -- once I got a Kayfun, I shoved those lame T3S's in a drawer and the only time I've looked at them since was when I shoved them all into a big ziplock and stashed them under the counter. Just no flavor from those, whereas a kayfun delivers max flavor AND TH, AND is easy to build. No contest whatever.

Andria
More flavor? I would have to drop from 3% to 1% flavor with a Kayfun.

No wonder you have to buy good batteries!

Would sure like to know what silica wicks has to do whith wanting good batteries. ;)
I use a silica wick for about 3 months, how long does a cotton wick last again????

More flavor? I would have to drop from 3% to 1% flavor with a Kayfun.

    and yes, I did that.

I have noticed there seems to be a lot of love for the Kayfun, so just curious. For those of you that like this tank, which version do you think is the best? Also if you have a preference on clones, please mention which clone brand you like. Thanks.

Oh, I'm sure I can do that, Boden. I just need to rip out all that silica and get it cleaned good. I just haven't gotten motivated yet. :D

*sigh* I should have done silly annotations on those pictures

    Dang..

    :p
What Gauge is that and the Coil Diameter? 28G & 2.5ID?

Kayfun V4 is the best Kayfun to date for me. It has quite a few parts over other versions but it is the easiest to fill and can be worked on without draining the tank like all the other Kayfuns.

If you are not going for an Authentic then pick up a Tobeco or Infinite version of the Kayfun V4

If you find the Kayfun V4 daunting (It's really not just a bit of a learning curve.) then a Tobeco or EHPro version of the Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is a good choice.

Eciggity has an excellent deal on one for $20 with a ton of accessories. (Only Black, Blue or Gold in stock.)

The only thing I absolutely HATE about the 3.1 and 2.1 is having to top fill it because I have no 18G Leur Lock bottle tops that fit the fill port perfectly.

So you need to learn how to top fill the 3.1 or pick up a Ghost Refill tank.

Here is a little light reading for you... ;)
    http://svoemesto.ru/Public/SM/Kv3.1_UserManual/Kv3.1_UserManual_ENG.pdf

Here is the man himself Dave Modz who is the king of 3.1's. He does a Bunny Ear wicking and shows both fill methods. This is one of his earlier videos and it's mirror imaged so his tank and top threading is backwards.
Filling 20 minutes in, he blocks two air holes as all his Kayfuns are very nicely modded.

    Dave Modz Kayfuns 3.1's.

I love that so many people think blocking the air holes does something to stop tanks from flooding while ignoring the gaping hole at the top.

No problems with any of mine, ranging from 3.1 to 2 and 2+ Lite. The 2+ lite with dual air intake are slightly ahead. About half of them are EHPro brand, one Tobeco, several "built" from Fastech "repair" parts, base, tops and tubes.

I think that, since they've been around so long now, most of the bugs from early copies of the "real" Svomestoe have been worked out.

I still like the 3.1 the best. Except ....... there's enough SS in the thing to make 3 RDAs.
