I see someone blow into the drip tip for half a sec before taking a hit, why do people do that? Read somewhere it also prevented spitback, is that true?
I only do that when I'm dripping and want to make sure the juice made it all the way down and out of the drip tip.

There's also a lot of people that take a quick draw, blow out bit, then take another bigger draw, why?
I learned to do that when I smoked those 120 mm skinny cigarettes. You had to draw the first time just to get it burning enough to be able to take a second draw and get smoke. They tended to go out otherwise.

Double draw. I do it for taste. Only works for mtl hits. Take a full puff then inhale with your mouth while exhaling through your nose.
This. Double draw. I do this all the time...except I don't always exhale through my nose (husband assures me that I do, sometimes). Don't know why I do it. I just do. Always have since I started vaping. May have done it when I smoked, too. I think it enhances the flavor. I think. Could be just habit.

Ah...that might be it. I did used to smoke Mores...which were long skinny 120s. I got the habit then and continued I think.

I smoked Virginia Slims 120s for about 25 yrs -- the shorter VS before them. I don't think I ever did that when I smoked, but I did take long hits, the kind where you actually see the fire travelling up the cigarette. :D Now that I vape, I'm not surprised to see the CF4's timer sometimes shows hits lasting longer than 5 seconds. :D

Mores, exactly.
A very popular brand with bartenders and waitresses, too...they could be re-lit and not taste all that gnarly. I used to knock off the burning ash and put the half cig back in a pack in those cases where I had to abruptly stop smoking (to go in a building for example) and there was still a lot of cigarette left. Sheesh. What a life!

That was exactly why I switched to 120s, so I could smoke 'em twice and save money -- I went from 2 pks a day to 1 pk, with the longer ones.

My first vape setup was one of those pen styled Joye 510s. It didn't have a fire button, it was automatic when you inhaled. But they didn't work right unless you took a short primer puff to get it firing, then a nice long draw. I've vaped the same way ever since, whether it is really necessary or not. I do think you get more flavor that way. :D

You just reminded me that I also started vaping with the KR808 automatics! I remember now! That just reinforced my habit from the 120 cigs! haha! Came naturally!

Well I found out that what I have isn't actually vaper's tongue. It just kept seeming different because I had a metallic taste in my mouth and I couldn't really taste my food either, not even something hot. So last night I started thinking about when this started. And I realized it was a couple of days ago when I ran out of my regular mouth wash and started using some Crest Pro Health that I got on sale to try.

So late last night I started doing some googling and was shocked to find thousands of posts by people who have used Crest Pro Health and their taste buds were dead for weeks afterward. Plus some people had a lot of other even worse symptoms. Evidently, this has been going on since 2007 when the product first came out, and yet they are still selling it. I dumped the rest of it out, but I'm pretty mad about the whole thing. Still no taste this morning. I just hope it doesn't take weeks like some people were saying.
I so feel for you! I had the same issue with the Crest mouthwash. Would leave an awful taste in my mouth for hours! Thankfully I made the connection after a few days so it corrected itself just as quick. Hopefully it'll be the same for you.

Heads up, though. Crest isn't the only one with that problem. Pretty much any antiseptic mouthwash that is also alcohol free will screw with your tastebuds. It's the active ingredient common among them.

I triple draw. Never did it as a smoker, so I don't know why I do it as a vaper. *shrugs* it's one of the reasons why I love my aerotanks. They're forgiving of this method. My Nautilus and GS Air flood all the time.

Yep I also started vaping on the KR0808 auto batteries. I still have a couple of ego styled 650 ma 808 batteries. They are manual though.

I got a Tobeco Orchid V5 polycarbonate RTA today and quickly threw a 0.7ohm 28 gauge SS430 single coil on it.

Tried just a few draws with 100% VG 24mg Nic on the Cloupor Mini+ in TC mode and......Epic Nic Hit.

I won't do that again.

Not much room in there to build with 28 gauge SS430 so I gotta find some alternatives as I want to use the tank, its cool I think.

Certainly don't feel sleepy atm lol.

I'm sorry you had the same problem. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. But at least maybe someone else will read this and be aware. It's so weird to not be able to taste much. I'm just glad I only used it for 2 days, so hopefully it won't be much longer. I went to the store today and decided to check all the labels on the mouthwash and you're right. I saw that same ingredient on everything that didn't have alcohol in it. Back to the Listerine I guess. :D

You can use a very low dose hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash. You will need some mint flavouring for it though.
