That's really surprising that it didn't affect your taste buds. Sometimes when I get a bad cold, my sense of taste is muted.

I've just been reading more of the online reports on Crest Pro Health and a lot of people found that it caused brown spots on their teeth. It's unbelievable that a wash that supposed to make your teeth whiter and remove plaque put brown spots on teeth! I'm just really mad that they can continue to sell this product with so many people reporting problems. A lot of these reports were on dental sites.

It might be an over-abundance of fluoride -- my stepfather grew up in SC, which at the time was adding far too much fluoride to the public water; his natural teeth, though they were quite sound, were completely black; he had to have total crowns to have decent looking teeth.

Yeah... people blathering on about vaping unflavored are generally always vaping a great deal of VG -- unflavored PG is pretty rank!

Andria
Not really, mine are currently 80PG20VG (including my DIY WTA) and am trialling 100PG when I get home this weekend. Perhaps I just buy a better quality PG? Could also be that I'm not chasing overpowering lolly flavour, and am satisfied with just having a replacement for smoking.

Another advantage though is length of time between rewicking; I last rewicked this atomiser on 24th September, and it's still clear as a bell. If this keeps up, I'll probably have to rewick say by Xmas

It's interesting how different eliquids react. With my menthols, cartos and coils last for weeks but the cool mint which has vanillin in it can gunk up inside less than a week. It's like a slow caramelisation of the sugars.

One of these days I will get sick of the hassle around that eliquid. :p

I agree that's a big advantage, but I couldn't deal with 85% PG and no flavor. Ick! It has to taste GOOD, or I'm not interested, and if I'm not interested in vaping, then my mind will turn to... smoking. Even after all this time. 30% flavor is still better than smoking.

I'm definitely going to try it again when I get my taste buds back. But I might go to 50-50 instead of 65-35. :D

:)

If you truly can't handle the taste of unflavoured, add a teensy bit of flavouring remembering that in some cases, less is more ;)

Well I found out that what I have isn't actually vaper's tongue.

So late last night I started doing some googling and was shocked to find thousands of posts by people
who have used Crest Pro Health and their taste buds were dead - I dumped the rest of it out...

sorry to hear of your dilemma... :(
hope it cures qwik

on a side note : at first, thought you spelled ‘gargling’ wrong
then it came to mind
wonder if she was gargling while googling… ?

kinda made myself chuckle

if I hadn't been using such a high-gunk juice, I might not even have found it; the high-gunk causes such a problem in a tank,

Since running across Derall about a year ago...I've used NO other ejuice. (GREAT flavor, $4.50/30ml., $12/120ml... what's not to like???)

They add a small amount of "extra flavoring" to their juices...which makes them slightly thinner than other's juices. As a result...my coils seem to last much longer before "gunking up".

I see someone blow into the drip tip for half a sec before taking a hit, why do people do that? Read somewhere it also prevented spitback, is that true?

There's also a lot of people that take a quick draw, blow out bit, then take another bigger draw, why?

purging
PRE warming the coil
also like prematurely pressing the fire button, prior to the draw

it's all about getting the coil UP to temp for that 'perfect' atomization

For the first, it might help prevent spitback, but it prevents getting juice in your mouth if there is too much in the atty chamber.

For the 2nd... I would say it's primarily for flavor, and secondarily because absorption of vaporized nicotine isn't very efficient, so a double hit gives you more nicotine than a single isolated hit would do. Also, there can still be a bit of a tendency to cough at vapor, if it's been a while since the last hit (a lot of old smokers do have various breathing dysfunctions); by taking a small one, then a bigger one, you get your throat/airway accustomed with a small amount, before trying to take a bigger hit. I learned to handle the morning coughing by taking only tiny hits; after I've been awake awhile, I can vape more normally.

Isn't spitback and and juice spitting in ones mouth the same thing?

And by the way, no juice have leaked at all since I asked about it :)

They are using thick wire and waiting until it heats up/starts making vapor. They blow out so they can see the vapor start.

Does not prevent spitback.

Double draw. I do it for taste. Only works for mtl hits. Take a full puff then inhale with your mouth while exhaling through your nose.

How do you inhale and exhale at the same time?

Well, there's spitback, and there's just plain sucking juice into your mouth, if it's built up in the atty chamber (ike after sitting all night). I avoid spit-back by using an angled driptip adapter or a knucklehead driptip, so the spits go straight up but don't curve around the angle to my lips. But even with that offset driptip, it's still possible to suck juice into your mouth if it's built-up in the atty chamber. It's not pleasant, and it burns your mouth (if there's nicotine in it).

It doesn't brunfor me, but it's an extremely strong yuck taste.

Anyways, I'm extremely tired, and my daughter fell asleep while laying on my chest. Gonna try laying her carefully in bed and try get some sleep myself. Good night :)

Practice ;)

When you take a mouth puff you are not using your lungs. So, take a mouth puff, then lung inhale, then while taking another mouth puff exhale through your nose.

I learned to do that as a smoker... years ago!
