That looks like quite a rig...and very adaptable for just about anything you might want in the near future! You will need to get the batteries and charger, of course. Looks good! Not a bad price, either.
I would go ahead and get the 18650 Battery and Xtar VP4 from RTDVapor as you first planned! I trust Randy at RTD a lot! I would go with the LG HG2 battery.

Admittedly, I am a bit late to this discussion, so I did not read everything. But this warm vape thing, resp. your "very hot vape": Very hot vape tends to be a byproduct of when something went wrong ... overheated coil, for example, and this also means overheated flavors and liquid. Yes, there is a difference between cooler and warmer vape - but I am not sure that this difference is really an overwhelming one. I mean, if you want the warmth of cigarettes that comes from combustion, this is not something we can achieve if we want to keep the vape enjoyable. At least I think so.
Yeah when I was first breaking away from tobacco vapes, I was fond of "icey pineapple" -- it's kinda like pineapple sherbet, which I LOVE. But koolada needs a really light hand, or it does have a flavor, which isn't very pleasant. Maybe that's just one of my taste/smell quirks, a la Sir Cromwell's.

@Shameless, sorry if I came off a little harsh with my previous post but I was concerned like @fourthrok stated, Ni200 coils could be very nasty if not used on a properly working TC devices.
I started with an eVod style clearomizer, and was never satisfied with the vape it provided. I was treating it like a cigarette and wanting the exact same results. Vaping is not the same as smoking and never will be no matter what device you get. I had nothing but troubles with the eVod, always gurgling and leaking onto the battery post which was probably from me treating it like a smoke. I tried an eVod II with the newer coils, I was told by one B&M salesperson they were less prone to leaking and gurgling, that didn't help it still gurgled. I tried other Kanger tanks and finally was told I should get a Nautilus, so I picked up the mini and it was much better than any Kanger product at the time. I put the mini on an iStick20 at 8W and all was good. Then one day I couldn't get the mini apart to fill it and i have had bad luck with new coils right out of the box.
There was not a whole lot of choice for me back then other than the Kanger/Aspire products, now there are many choices and testing them out at your local vape shop might be a really good place to start.
I tried one of the GS Air M tanks a while ago, even though it was not for me, it did provide a good vape and many people love them.
Personally I never did find any real satisfaction from the older Kanger/Aspire products. I used the Nautilus mini for about 4 months until I picked up my first rebuildable and from that point, I never looked back.
Others here will assist you in the newer coil head devices like the Ego1, once I started rebuilding I had zero interest in anything with a coil head.

I went to a part of a part of the family I've not been with for a long time (not that closely related). Thought I'd stick by for a couple hours. But they were fighting and everyone there was mad and it was just a bad vibe all over the place. So I left. I can't handle that kind of people right now. Don't have time for that!
So went back home and put on supernatural and sat on the sofa with my never-angry device, a much better company.
