My dad had one like that, I laugh every time I think about it.

We had to go to the store the day he bought it, and he refused to buy a can of green beans because they were one cent more than he thought they should be. Then he went and paid cash for that over sized boat!
Ha Ha.
Yes indeed she was a boat. The only car I ever had where you could watch the gas gauge move as you rocketed down the highway once the 472 came to life as the 4bbl kicked in.

Like smokes, gas was dirt cheap back then so no one cared how many MPG it got. :)

My folks had one of those old buick 88 with the big blocks in it. My dad said it would pass anything but a gas station.

My biggest mistake was buying a new 64 Dodge dart (428 hemi). That car would do everything except drive in a strait line!

Heck, I'll play that vid ANY day. It always was my favorite Geico commercial, except for maybe the high-5'ing squirrels. :D Don't have Geico anymore but the CAMEL still rocks. :D

So today, in about 3 hours actually, will be one week without cigarettes. Late last night my daughter arrived with her husband and four children, ranging in age from three weeks to six years, to just sleep here for a night on their way further north. This morning I get up to make breakfast for the crew. I'm cooking, the kids are running around like crack monkeys, the dog is getting into the action, and the adults are busy trying to get organized to get the car packed up again. The stress was just about visible, there was so much in the house. I grabbed one of my leftover American Spirits and stepped out onto the porch. I lit it, took a drag, and almost puked into the bushes. I got rid of that nasty thing! I guess I'm done with cigarettes.

Just hit 8 months cigarette free today and dam it feels good. After 55 years of smoking I did not think it was possible to quit. I think vaping saved what is left of my life and will be eternally grateful for all the great info I have gotten here. Thanks everyone I now have my one year vapeaversary in my sights.
