Tootle Puffers, Redux (The Sequel)

Had to stop by to say good to see the tootle puffers new thread. Today it's carto tank time (love my provaris but innokin coolfire 1 has perfect airflow for carto tanks at a nice steady 8.5 watts)

Last night, someone in the womper's thread questioned "how I could even vape" with a 3ohm carto at my iStick30's 8.2w setting... but that's a great setting for cartos, and he very obviously doesn't tootle.

Will you be using the Desert Ship straight up or mixing it with something else. I have several tobacco flavours but even though I mix I'm never quite pleased with them. Maybe I just don't like tobacco flavours.

I tried about 6 tobacco flavors. No go I like the desert ship by Hangsen though. Most authentic to me.
I mix 2 drops/ml and about 3 drops per 10 ml of butterscotch. I am going to try some caramel and maybe hazelnut next round. but very lightly on the other flavorings.

I had also tried all the tobacco flavor juices that 3 vapeshops had and did not like any of them.

I am also playing with net. cold method. First batch should be about done.

How do you feel about Virginia tobacco flavor? I found the "Tobacco Express" ("Flavor Express") Virginia was darn near perfect, when I still liked that flavor; their Golden Virginia wasn't *too* bad, but a little too "grassy." The regular Virginia flavor doesn't have that green vegetative note.

EEEuwww, I tried the FA Virginia *first*, and it's so awful it put me off trying anymore DIY for QUITE a while! Tastes like rotten celery!

Perfect. My 3ohm carto is set at 8w right now.

Innokin mods seem to have the smoothest signal of any mod I've ever vaped. Probably similar to a Provari (though I've never vaped a Provari to compare).

I have found the Cool Fire IV and Evic tube mods to have the smoothest power, at the lower range, of any Chinese mods. Not quite as smooth as the ProVari, but very close. Good to see some high quality coming out among all the new shinys, especially for we tootlers!

I don't have a Provari, or a Cool Fire IV, but I do have a Disrupter now, and IT IS SMOOTH. I know I'm not using it to its full potential, but I love it. The only time I ever have it above 8 watts is when I have the iSub tank on it with a .5 ohm coil, then it goes all the way up to 11 watts. I've not been able to handle anything higher, so I guess that means I will always and forever be a Proud Tootle-Puffer.
