That's the $9.99 ZMax 3. Single 18350 with my kayfun 4 on top. I'd like a flat top ring, lol. And a spacer for the ring gap...I twist the top ring up underneath the tank base for stability, like an eGo vanity cone.

Oh, and a small bottle of Wakanda. :)

Idk why they chose a pointed top cap on some versions, I like the flat tops a lot better too.. I believe the V5 has a Flat Ring.. And the first one lol Still a nice mod though, especially for $9.99 I should get a Zmax V3 or the Vamo V5 for $9.99...

Of course when I get payed Sweet-Vapes is out of stock on the Eleaf GS Air M.. Lol I want to order the "Original" coil heads as-well, heard they are better than the new Organic Cotton coils. Anyone know what kind of wick material is used the originals?

The original coils use silica, but amazingly enough they taste great and last a long time. That's the only coil I've really liked silica in.

So here's one for you. I bought a Coolfire 1 and it worked for three days and just stopped working. Switched batteries, it worked great for a few minutes, then stopped working again.

So the night before last, I took off the 18650 extension and put a 18350 battery in the compartment. It's been working fine ever since. Can't see anything wrong with the extension tube, which came with it (I bought a kit that had the Coolfire 1, an extender and a i30s clearomizer), and the batteries work just fine in my Zmax.

Any theories?

BTW, I got some vape mail today as well. Film at 11.

Is it anodized or painted or basically anything on the threads that would screw up conductivity?

Actually both the v3 and v5 were available in either flat-top or round-top versions, but not just the tops were different -- the round-tops were a lot more like the Smok Zmaxs -- this is the v3 "flat-top" though as you can see, it isn't truly flat, just has less of a bevel than the round-tops do, and a very different body style:

That's one of my old MT3S tanks (no longer used).

Ok here's a newer pic, with one of my kayfuns --

sigelei-18650.jpg

You can see I have the cap swivelled up to minimize the huge gap from the extremely high-set 510 connector.

Since I got all these CF4s and iStick30s, the sigelei has been demoted to maintenance duty -- something handy to dry-burn coils, or get a new coil setup and wicked. Since I don't use it often, I rarely have to charge the 18500 I keep in it -- got a couple of those newer AWs, 1200mAh, 15C, 18amps. Of course it's always handy if I want something different in one of my Kayfuns. ;) With an 18500 in it, it's pretty short, not telescoped-out nearly as much as those pics, which are with 18650s in it.

So it screws up tight with a single 18350 in it? Was not sure about that. The info on the site where we got them said something about dual 18350's?

Sure, you can use dual 18350s in a Zmax, I used to do it. The thing is, it needs to always be a *married* pair of batteries -- they should be the same age, with the same amount of usage, and same number of charge cycles, at all times. I got sick of that nit-pickyness so I quit using duals. Oh, it also works better if they're both flat-tops -- two button tops will work, but that's the absolute limit of the telescoping ability.

Did it last longer per charge with dual 18350's or a single 18650?

If you can show me a VV or VW mod that is as reliable and maintenance free as my 4 year old Provari 1 I'll buy it today.
There is one: the Dani :)) But, it too is quite expensive. Though a Dani paired with a Kayfun 3.1 (lite+) is a beautiful combo!
