EEEuwww, I tried the FA Virginia *first*, and it's so awful it put me off trying anymore DIY for QUITE a while! Tastes like rotten celery!

Andria
well since even fresh celery is hideous to this one with the bitter gene I cannot say that it tasted like that but it was pretty bad so were the CAP Smooth and medium I tried as well. But not as bad as the FA Virginia. I can even tell if one bit of celery is in a pot of soup.

I have found the Cool Fire IV and Evic tube mods to have the smoothest power, at the lower range, of any Chinese mods. Not quite as smooth as the ProVari, but very close. Good to see some high quality coming out among all the new shinys, especially for we tootlers!
I need to email Busardo and ask him about low power vaping on the Evic VTC mini. None of the reviewers vape them below 20 watts in their reviews any more. Even tootler Busardo.

Not surprising; celery is a VERY strong flavor! I'm a southerner, used to highly seasoned foods, and I often use celery and onions to season different meats, but celery has to be used VERY sparingly or it just overwhelms everything. A restaurant my husband and I used to frequent in Lake Orion, MI, had a great soup/salad bar -- but every last soup they offered was basically "celery soup", they used so blasted much of it. I love celery, but not that much!!!!!!!!

But the FA Virginia was like the smell of the crisper drawer when the celery has gone so rotten it's turned to liquid... just NASTY.

Dill is another flavor I abhor and whatever is in the Italian Sausage they put on pizza.

I think those little seed things in italian sausage are caraway seeds, and they're just godawful. Ick ick ick. Dill I like only on BBQ -- I never put pickles on hamburgers, but on BBQ they're awesome!

I think it may be sage in large quantities that I do not like in the sausage. And yes the caraway seeds are horrible.

I just drove through Lake Orion twice today, taking my Dad to and from the doctor. It is so developed now one wouldn't recognize it from 10 years ago!

I recently checked it out on google maps' street view, and was absolutely AMAZED that Rustic Cabins is still there! That's where my husband and I started our cohabitation, and our marriage, and even where we "started" our son. ;) That was in '87/'88, so it's really amazing that it's still there! But that lake (Lake Orion I guess!), at Rustic Cabins... don't go in it, if you're not a native who's been swimming in it since birth -- it's got SOMETHING in it that will make anyone else DESPERATELY ill.

I think they're actually fennel seeds, and y'all are right, a little of them go a long ways.

It's Fennel, should be milder and sweeter, and I love it - it's what makes Italian Sausage Italian.

Edit - cross posted this with Kim B. Great minds think alike!

Well whatever make italian Sausage into Italian sausage this one does not like. That stuff will ruin a perfectly good pizza for me.

Good morning folks. Took me a while to catchup.

I have never liked celery either and capsicum is the same. One tiniest piece and the entire dish is spoiled for me. But I did discover that if you use the celery tops (leafy bit) in soups you get a lovely peppery taste with out actual celery.

Consider all of you liked for the previous 9 pages. M

Still need mooooooooorrrrrrre pics :p

I got lost on the old thread and couldn't keep up, now there's a new thread and already five pages since I went to bed last night! LOL! I'm gonna try to do better at keeping up with this one, but it's not lookin' very good right now!

There are two kinds of people in the world, Lannie... Those with lives and those of us able to keep up with the thread. Congrats on your life!

Depending on how stupid the FDA gets nicbase may be better than real $$$.

My little 401(k) at work might break even by the time I'm too old to work any more. All the surplus ammo I've bought over the past 10 years has doubled in value...
