Have a look at fasttech.

https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004861/1746100-authentic-aerotank-mega-clearomizer

https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...hentic-kangertech-aerotank-v2-bcc-clearomizer

I have one of the second one but didn't buy it there. It it says style in the description is is not authentic.
It's actually around as cheap as in the norwegian site, except for the coils. Coils much cheaper there. Are the coils from there any good? Won't matter if coils arrive late as I have a lot by forehand. And is the "style" coils even worth a try?

I'm planning on getting one .8 and several above.

I buy all of my coil heads from Fasttech. I haven't had a quality problem with them.
Authentic/non authentic?

I'm a bit sceptical about this company because of previous experiences with "such" sites. And I've hear tons of bad things about fast tech, think I just need some assurents.

They are indeed cheap. More than a quarter the price I'm used to. Think I'm gonna go for them :)

They don't have the cool fire IV though. Only price I find that at in Norway is $55USD which is really expensive, trying to find another place in europe to buy it from. UK was more expensive.

One must remember that most vaping gear is made in China. If Chinese companies have no problem with stealing tech from foreign companies, what would make one think that they wouldn't do it to each other?

I have a feeling that a lot of the "clones" we see are actually coming out of the same factories as the authentics.

I bought two authentic, verified (by their scratch thingy) Kanger STN's from a local vape shop. I bought another three "styled" (not authentic) STN's from FT. One night I took all five of them apart for a thorough cleaning. I simply could not tell the difference between the parts from the authentics and the clones. I even got out my calipers, scales and depth gauges--even the engraving was the same depth.

OTOH, I bought a clone Coolfire 1 from them and it lasted about ten minutes before making a battery very, very angry indeed.

No... the only place google can find it at all is from the original mfr, titanium-mods.com, and it says "this item is no longer in stock" just like the Achilles original.

So the only place to get ANY kind of Achilles is the clone of the original, from Frog in Fog...

Andria
I've fallen behind the thread but wanted to reply to this. Thanks Andria. I still have no info on the Achilles II except what it says on the site and facebook (shorter, adjustable air, some design change that prevents the wicks from coming out of the wells!).

Regarding what I'm calling the Achilles I, I have my two clones from Frog and Fog, which is now out of stock ("taking votes"). About a million links down in a google search, I found a purchase link for the achilles clones on something called Bonanza. Didn't recognize or trust so I didn't post it, and since it had paypal option I went for it. Sure enough they sent out the familiar achilles clone -- this one not in the silver aluminum jar but in a box with the manufacturer stamp "yeahsmo." So that must be who is making the achilles clones sold at frog in fog. here's the link:http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Achilles-Titanium-Mods-Atomizer-Rba-Rda-Dual-Mod-Clone/238060632
With this my third Achilles, I set about disassembling both the new (for cleaning) and one of the ones I already had to master the pieces and parts. Amazingly simple design. I do keep losing the tiny washer for the center pin, but given the insulator and what they consistently provide for extras in the package I'm not worried. Now I have two achilles in operation, one ultra-cleaned and pampered in the bank as backup, and can calmly await what I hope will be a second batch of Achilles II from the original mod maker. I will gladly pony up 100 euro for the update to this atty. I've placed a ton of great and/or workable tootle RTAs in pretty deep storage -- Calix from byLeo, goblin mini with dual-coils sealed -- achilles just crushes them. Unbreakable, light, 2mil capacity, small, dead simple, bottom air/flavor, utterly leakproof.

I used to buy some "authentic" stuff there and yes, they seemed to be very authentic. Mostly atomizers and atomizer heads, but also a couple of Innokin itaste VV 3.0 batteries - they really all seem to be authentic. And one of my favourite slim clearos is this one, not "authentic" something, but very good (works with Kanger BCC):
https://www.fasttech.com/product/1528500-rg200-bottom-coil-clearomizer-2-0ml

(of course one can buy it also in a UK shop ;-)

I do not have negative experiences, but then I stick to "authentic" and with the exception of the Innokins, never buy there any batteries or mods.

I believe they are from the same factory. I just looked at what I use. I haven't looked in a while.
Protank single coil 1.8. There was only one that came up in the search that was cheaper and it seem from the picture that the chimney was different.

I wouldn't buy a mod from them as it there is a problem it would be a pain and what I look at i can get for around the same price locally.

Okay, ordered coils and that tank you mentioned (reserve tank) from fast tech.

Now I'm gonna order the aerotank mega, and then I'm gonna find a cool fire IV for a bit cheaper than the norwegian price of $55...

No way turning pack now :D

Edit: This really feels like what it's supposed to. Feels like this is what was chosen for my by the universe. Destiny brought me here. This is huge! I feel like I'm finally becoming who I am supposed to be!

Not really, just listening to dramatic instrumental music.. But I do feel good about this :)

And please tell if you find any polite sites for the Cool Fire IV.

Preachin' to the choir, my friend! I don't want to go back to cigarettes. I want something simple. Things that actually work. Quality control. I don't see why people "have" to learn to re-build coils. I'm not really that hooked on nicotine, since I'm a Tootle Puffer using mostly 6 to 7 watts and 1.5 to 2.1 ohm, and my DIY juice is only about 2.5mg. Almost not there. My deal is the hand to mouth habit. That is what my Achilles Heel has been all my life. When I was a baby/toddler I sucked my fingers. When I was a kid I was always wanting snacks...I'd get a bag of M&Ms and eat them slowly, one by one, chipping the shell off first with my teeth before eating the chocolate to make them last as long as possible. I also ate a lot of popcorn...one kernel (biting off pieces, believe it or not) at a time to make it last. It's the hand to mouth thing for me. In a way, starting smoking in college was a "godsend" for someone like me trying to keep my slim figure. Though I hate having to say that. Cigarettes kept me from snacking. After 43 years of that bad habit I quit and went with vaping...and it works! I stepped down off the nicotine over about a year until I am where I am now and have been for a few years. I feel I could give up the nicotine. That would be painless. But I enjoy the flavor of my menthol juice, and vaping satisfies my urge for the hand to mouth thing. I simply resent having it be such a production . I just want things to work. If I buy a pack of coils..they ought to work. If one is bad, I'll let that slide. But NOT a whole box! Or 3 or 4 out of 5! I spent hours/days/weeks perfecting my DIY juice a few years ago. That was trial enough, but it saves me money and I far prefer my juice to any commercial menthol I've tried since. Now I have go through the whole thing again learning to rebuild coils because of lousy quality control over overpriced things I've paid for. I'm in poor health, and on a limited fixed income. My husband is gravely ill. I don't need this aggravation!

Okay. Sorry. Getting off my soapbox now. But it feels good to get it off my chest anyway! :grr: :(
{{{hugz}}} because sometimes you just need one.

I love all things menthol and mint and DIY most of my eliquids. I wanted consistency and was always afraid that the eliquid I liked would be out of stock. Can I ask for your menthol recipe.

So very much the same with me - after well over 40 years of smoking, I discovered that it is a hand-to-mouth thing when I noticed how easily nicotine reduction went, 2 mg at the moment but it could also be zero, vaping at 7-8 watt and preferably about 2 ohms ... yes, yes and yes.

There is one difference: the rebuildable I use is exactly because of the quality & simplicity argument - ready-mades are not always simple in terms of predictability and quality. And also in terms of availability, if regulation hits us next year (and we don't exactly know how and where it hits).
