I'm not really "stuck" on going tc. I just dont know how to get a really warm vapor without doing so.

Is there a reason you suggested the 40w?

@Shameless one thing I have learned helping others start and even in my own vaping is that regardless of what you want it to do...unless the size and shape grabs you then it becomes something that sits in a shelf.

Why not flip through a large vendors site and just see what grabs your attention styling wise. That sound too basic I know but that's what I have found. No point buying the latest and greatest if you don't like how it sits in your hand or where the fire button is or even how light or heavy it is. If you have a bricks and mortar store close, go in and hold them

Then once you have this sorted start to look at the various option and how they fit in your life. Battery life, various types of vaping Vv/VW TC

They last for ages. He has a couple of revives that are hitting 3 weeks constant use. Light eliquids though.

What do you use?

I use strictly rebuildables anymore, I'm a cheapskate and picky. But I used to use cartos and cartotanks a *lot*, and liked them a great deal for all the reasons I mentioned in the previous post. The cartotanks are not very expensive, hold a good bit usually, anywhere from 3 to 6ml, and are a really good way to get started, especially with the benefits of a TC mod -- no dry hits, and adjusting the warmth to suit you.

The 40w can be had for $25- $30, battery is built in, just use USB connection to charge. The 60w is not much more, but requires an additional purchase of a battery and a battery charger. Using replaceable batteries also requires some reading up on, important safety issues to know before using them.

What I found when I first discovered any type of clearo was that they were way too airy in contrast. I got used to the air flow eventually, and started to prefer it.

The rechargable batteries was something that appealed to me.

My MigCig battery goes dead every 3 hours ish (which is so frustrating and another of the reasons I want to buy a mod)
I loved the idea of just buying some batteries and carrying them along as opposed to buying multiple mods. I had to buy 4 migcig batteries at $22 a pop - it became more expensive then I liked.

Plus the 18650 batteries could be used in most mods I would purchase in the future, unlike the migcig

This may be a stupid question - but can they be used with the evic vtc mini on temperature mode? I guess I'm still confused about the nickel/titanium/ss coil thing when it comes to kartos.

I wanted a cylinder shaped mod - but I didnt see any that appealed to me with TC. And the most important thing to me in this change is having warm vapor too.

small drip tip size (I am buying some with a narrow bore that are small and I think I would like the feel of)
battery to last at least 8 hours (my migcig lasts about 3)
stop getting burnt tastes
something pretty or that I can make pretty

At what watt setting? Try taking it up say 1/2 watt at a time. More heat will warm up the vapor. If it starts to do bad thns to the flavor, back it down a step.

You know, considering this is a tootle puffing thread we don't talk about the egrip as an option. I got one a while back and switched the coils inside to the aspire BVC coils and it's a lovely very stealthy device. But it has a lot of options to rebuild either the clr coils or the RBA deck.

Are people not a fan?

Mine's been gathering dust for a while. I got too frustrated with the rba section. But yesterday I got it out, and managed to get a coil in that thing. Only took me half an hour This coil's nevah comin' out!
Once built, its a great little thing to take out and about.

3 doesnt give enoguh vapor
10 is about where the amount of vapor is comfortable
and when I go up to 15 is starts tasting weird

But none of those levels give me a warm wapor

I am one of those folks who would rather figure out how to make something work. while you are still deciding on your new gear how about we try and help you get your current clearomizer working. Any top coil clear needs to be constantly primed, by tipping, swirling etc (you would know that) the wicks should feed enough to last at least one draw at a time.

I suggested not that long ago that vaping too hard is often a problem. Try putting the driptip in the corner of your lips and taking in air with your draw. That technique stops the hard vacumm and should allow the wicking to keep up with you.

The other thing is to make sure the little grommets are not choking your wicks. This sometimes happens when you screw the tip on too tight.

I think the TC40w is a great device
the kit that includes the GS tank is cool too
you again, would need to get some reg Kanthal coils also...
