Most tootle-puffers DON'T want more airflow, since you can't MtL hit with too much air. I'm thinking those who're drilling out their clearos need to report to the modwompers thread ASAP. :D

Heck, I hang in there just because I'm a coil-builder; I'll never be other than a tootler in terms of airflow -- MtL for me, ALWAYS. I'm trying to stay free of smoking, not huffing. ;)

Even with the air holes drilled drilled out massively you are still restricted to about a 1.25 mm airhole thru the 510 center pin.
The threadind on some batteries blocks some of the base airholes and drilling them out helps with this.

I noticed that when I tried to use T3S's or Mini PT II's on either my Sigelei Zmax or Vamo v2; the well they sit down inside does kinda block the air -- which I actually liked, but I quickly found that the Vamo v2 was a bad choice because the top "cap" isn't removable (as the Zmax's is) -- with the Zmax I could loosen the threads on the cap and lift it up so I could actually *get at* the clearo to remove it, and not make a mess. :D

The Vamo (v2) also kinda blocks the airflow on cartotanks, because the top is so completely flat, and the only airflow is down right around the 510 connector; I use to have my cartotank almost completely unscrewed, just to get some air.

All those hassles are why I moved to using solely rebuildables (plus the flavor!).

@Vapez I have no idea if this relates to what she is vaping but I setup a couple of new vapers with evods on regular ego batteries. Without realising it I gave them dual coils. These coils took a bit of warming up to vapourize the eliquid properly. When that happens it was like sucking a thick shake through a small straw. Especially with their nervousness and taking small vapes. It was like a slow boil and was never going to work.

When I realised and switched them to single coils and low resistance the coils heated up quicker and were able to vapourize the eliquid enough during their vaping to satisfy them.
Yes, she takes really small drags, and doesn't get enough vapor or taste to satisfy. I reckon single coils working better. So I'll just put on a single coil and another silicone cap and let her try that.

When I used premade juice, everything smelled tons! The bag I carried them with still smells after 4 months. But my closet filled with aromas and juice nearly smells at all. Why so?

Vapez

No idea... I have all my flavors (not ejuice, just flavors!) on one of those 2-level carousel deals in one of my cabinets, and I have to leave the door open or everytime my husband tries to put away the clean dishes, the smell almost knocks him down. :D

Guess that's about right. I mostly use GS Air Ms ...but I have an AFC on the mod and it's closed as tight as I can get it...then I close the AFC on the tank to leave just a small hole..about the size of a straight pin head. Hardly there. I use the Cero at night ...for that I close down the AFC to maybe 2 holes, but they are much smaller holes than the little space I set with the GS M. Averages out about the same in airflow, really. I don't seem to run through juice quite as fast with the reduced airflow, also. Still get plenty of vapor, though! Can fog up a car quick!

I'm sorry...I have no idea why. I keep my flavors and nic juice etc. in a little wooden box (I only make one DIY flavor) and I've been using that box since 2011. I open it...and the smell of menthol/peppermint can knock you right out of your chair! It wafts down the hall and son and hubby will comment "Oh...guess you are making juice again, right?"

I see the same thing with my Achilles... TIGHT airflow, and I've never gone over 9 or 9.5w watts on it, and it's every bit as conservative on juice as a cartotank -- it's as tight a draw as a carto, too. It holds 2.5ml, and I never need to refill it more often than about every 3-4 hrs.

I dunno... to me "tootling" is more like smoking than huffing. Huffing produces the big clouds, not tootle puffs.

Airflow preference spans all forms of vaping. Even some high watt RDA users dont like their airflow wide open. I squonk a velocity at 40 watts which is Mod Womping territory but the top airholes I keep close because to me its a better flavor that way, yet most know I love an airish vape. While on the other hand some who use T3S's on an Ego vaping at 8 to 9 watts preffer an airish vape, yet they are still tootle puffing.

Surely you jest ;) My much modified EVOD is purely for M2L, and it has more airflow capability than Mr Cromwell's  But orifice size is only one parameter when it comes to flow, pressure is the other (in this case, negative pressure or suction).

1.1ohm, 9W, 100PG (no VG), unflavoured 10mg, loose draw - just like smoking RYO

I aim for the throat hit and nicotine and the act of puffing on something which produces visible smoke/vapor. That's what I really enjoyed about smoking. I could sub ohm at 100w with 100% VG, but it wouldn't satisfy in the long run. I've never tried, but I need the throat hit, and I'm never obsessed about clouds.

Yall, its getting silly now. I am a full blown Mod Womper. I have tootle gear but havent used it in a few weeks now but I know for a fact Kat nor anyone else would ever ask me to leave....(well maybe troll :pervy:) because I am a confirmed Mod Womper.

Lets not grow a mountain out of a mole hill or try to redefine anything because anyones vaping style doesnt exactly match the definitions. This is a great thread with tons of great people and as long as I been cruising thru here, any and all have always been welcomed here.
