I'm a Brooklynite by osmosis (minimally an Eastener by osmosis), and yeppers, we had 'em all.

Shall we have the "gravy" vs. "sauce" argument in here? We "discussed" it in another thread and it proved even more hilariously irrational than any Provari vs. <insert device of choice here> wars!!!!!!

I remember when I first moved to New Orleans (back in the day) being utterly confused at what on earth "red gravy" could possibly be! I always called it "sauce"...as in tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, or marinara sauce, or whatever. And both my parents were Southern....and from Louisiana... so it wasn't like I had any reason to not be confused! lol!
