Yikes - good thing you're seeing your doc. Sounds like inner ear problem.

Good luck, sorrynomore.

I've had inner ear problems in the past. I fell on the floor getting out of bed and had to crawl next door to my friend's place.

Very frightening.

Very best to you.

And, my Better Half has MS.... Fortunately (at least for now) spasticity issues aren't significant.... But, there are memory issues :(
Sorry to hear that.
I have had it going on 17 years, and have met with a lot of people with it. Some of the most inspirational people!
MS takes so many different forms since it is a central nervous system disease.
I have to laugh a lot at myself and this body.
Unfortunately life happens to everyone, but I still feel fortunate to have lived a pretty good life with all it's twist and turns!
Love the one your with!

I have a Doctors appointment on Thursday,it's because lately (as of last week Tuesday) I sorta fainted 3 times last Tuesday morning and have felt dizzy ever since. When looking up,getting in or out of bed,and turning my head side to side I feel like I'm going to keel over,it's worst in the morning.
Sending positive vibes!

Thank you.... She was officially diagnosed about 4 years ago, after a major exacerbation, but looking back, thinks it had affected her years before.

Absolutely correct about how it affects different people. There are days she can't get out of bed (or just stay awake.) Sometimes walking is affected; sometimes speech is affected. We could have a conversation one evening, and then have the exact same conversation the next night - not knowing we'd talked about the topic the night before, almost verbatim.

Her former boss, diagnosed about 16-17 years ago. You'd never know it. Gal from church, other than bouts of fatigue, might not notice.

'Tis a roller coaster.... I wish you peace and stability....

I think that most would curl up and feel sorry for themselves but you have turned a negative into a positive.
I commend you for your positive attitude in dealing with your health. Stay strong and keep laughing! :thumb:

You are so right, Dinger. The mind is an amazing tool of strength.

We have a friend who was diagnosed about 15 years ago. She moved back to her home province, eventually got married and had a child. She was an actor and in the past few years she has returned to doing local theatre.

I tip my hat to anyone who can find light in dark times and press forward.

You, your partner and @motordude deserve goodness.

Yeah, one of my sons room mates told me he would shoot himself if he was me and was wheelchair bound.
I told him I understood, because if I was him right now I would probably do the same.
He didn't get the joke, he is not the brightest young man.

A sense of humour can get you through some bad times.

My brother's good friend lost his leg right up to the buttock, to cancer decades ago (he's about 65 now). Whilst he was in hospital he met a fellow cancer patient who lost his entire arm to the disease. They made a pact that if they survived they would go to Hawaii together when well enough.

They made it to Hawaii. They were at the beach, bobbing around in the water and decided to pull a prank. They came out of the water yelling "Shark!" - much to the horror of nearby suntanners.

Bugguhs.

My brother's friend was determined to take up skiing when he got home. He ended up winning a medal in the Para - Olympics.

Never give up.
