My wife, who does not vape or smoke, would probably be a good person to ask this question. I was over a friends house one weekend and he could not find his mod and 3 bottles of juice he recently bought. His wife warns him all the time to put his stuff away. We found the mod and 3 bottles of juice in the garbage.
That's evil.

That's silly. You must be joking right? If you don't feel like going through the hassle of making your own you're doing it wrong? I buy premade and there are KICKASS premade flavours, especially if your not a cheapskate. I always assumed that only broke people make their own because they always go on about how much cheaper it is.
Vaping at different temperatures - frankly, depending on the flavour, what it's made of and the VG/PG ratio call for different temps. That's why I have 4 sub ohm tanks with 4 different coils and 4 different juices going at all times. I just screw them off and on. Different juices need different coils and temp setups. One temp and one set up for all juices??? That's asinine! You must be joking and your tone isn't coming through.
However someone likes to vape, that's their buisness and you can't throw judgements on them. In fact, I shouldn't be judging the weird rules that YOU have in place for yourself regarding vaping. You do you. But I CAN give you hell for thinking you can TELL people they are doing it wrong. I thing you do it wrong but I'm not going to judge that....you do you bro!
No, he's right. You're absolutely doing it wrong, and need to step up your game!
Premade Juice? Wrong. I diy
Over 40W? So Wrong. I go about 10W
DL tanks? So Very Wrong. I MTL.

Just kidding, Rebecca! I'm pretty sure Hoggy just had trouble finding the sarcasm emoji. I have a difficult time finding it myself sometimes.

I DIY because I can do a better job than the commercial outfits. I can suit my taste to a ^T^.
Savings are a bonus, but not something I "need." I am doing quite fine actually in fact my min complaint is keeping up with all the sweet, lovely flavors I make.

I love to cook, so DIY is for me.

So yeah, also self-sufficiency and knowing I will have enough nic in my freezer til I'm dead.

But. you know, I'm not judging YOU either, Brah! You do YOU. Keep on keeping on spending that money and worrying about the flavor wars. Just like Burger King, in my World, you get to HAVE it your way.

Assumptions. So weird don't you think?

I've recently started vaping and one of the first things to bother me was the fact that vape care is so involved. You have to do everything right for it to work well and even then you still have to replace something and sometimes you get a device and it doesn't work well even if you do everything right. Although as the time went on I got better about it and I kind of like the hobbyist aspect of vaping.

The second thing is when I did have a problem with my vape and the vape shop I bought it from got all accusatory about all the things I probably did wrong and I'm just looking for free ..... Basically I had to shop around until I found a vape store that I would regularly go to without being judged or blamed for problems I had.

Of course I'm annoyed by people's ignorant arguments about how vaping is worse than cigarettes and for some reason they think it's their right to get in your face and shove their opinion down your throat. I mostly just don't bother arguing because people who don't understand something are that way because they don't want to. They're not asking questions, they just want to believe what they want to and no amount of facts will make a difference. We live among people who deny climate change for god's sake. It's the age of unenlightenment.

The last problem I have is vape reviews on YouTube. I watch too many of them and every time I get a new vape, I find another one I want. Vaping for me is cheaper than smoking, but it won't be if I keep buying a new mod every few weeks! To be fair though, the first few were ones I bought impulsively from recommendations at the vape store and not personal research. I've learned my lesson.

I hate that whenever I buy a vape I'm always looking for the next vape to buy, can't be happy with what I have. When I started I needed one or maybe two vapes in order to quit cigarettes. Now it's gone from enjoyment to an obsession.

Recently I did an inventory check and decided I'm buying one last vape and that's it for a while.

Fortunately for you, "a while" is an indeterminate period of time, thus you may resume vape shopping mere seconds after you buy 'one last vape' while remaining true to your word.

In the country I live vaping is totally forbidden, while cigarettes are freely sold in every gas station. Yes, there is a country in this world where vaping is completely forbidden and this country is called Brazil. Fortunately very few people here actually knows what vape is, so that turns to be a good thing for me. Nobody looks after this law, nobody try to teach me how vape is worse than cigarettes, nobody actually bothers me when I'm vaping. I just try to use pods when outside to be as much stealth as I can, using my mods only when at home. In the end it's all fine... But when I try to buy some imported stuff - since selling vaping gears here is also forbidden - I always take the risk to simply don't receive my package at all - it can be confiscated in customs randomly. It really pisses me off. Off course we do have some illegal vendors here, but because of this law our gear options are really restricted, our juices have worse quality and so on...

So it turns out that what annoys me have nothing to do about vaping itself, but it's about the stupid laws of this country.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I've gone through a few because I didn't like them. But now that I've found one I do like, I still find myself watching reviews of new vapes all the time and adding them to my mental list of vapes I want.

I started mixing because I was finding commercial juice overly sweet and flavored. Also didn’t like having to settle to get my preferred nic mg. The savings are just a bonus, being able to tailor my juice is priceless. Pot calling the kettle black???

x3

Actually I think now I have a team which will satisfy me for a good time. None of the mods and pods on the market that I don't have really attracts me. The problem is: every week we have some announcements. [emoji23]

Some people may not latch on to the idea that behavioral changes are also needed. Yet others may know that, but have such a hard time getting past those behavioral factors.
By behavioral factors, I mean like enjoying the solitude outdoors while they are 'forced' to go outside. Others may be privileges.. For instance, if I was still able to work, there would be no way I'd completely quit the nasties - since they offered a way for some extra (in my case, desperately needed) breaks from work.

This was so true for me. I actually was able to quit while still working but the very hardest part of it was that missed feeling from breaks. I solved it by going outside for the breaks but vaping instead.

Well, I think about 99% of us that are collecting mods, are doing it almost strictly because of the threat of flavor & equipment bans left and right.. I know I'm certainly in that category. I would in no way be having 28-30 mods right now if it weren't. :D

Of course another factor for those of us that chain-vape, is that I'm guessing most of us NEED to change flavors very frequently to reduce vaper's tongue.. And even then I might only get the new flavor for a few pulls. And I'm not about to be screwing and unscrewing [hot] attys all the time.

But I have to think ordering from 'loose-canon' places like China will remain a possibility. So due to that and desk-space reasons, I've decided to reduce my 'working set' from ~22 mods out with attys, down to 9 so far. On top of discovering that the new DNA Color boards are meant to be USED and not feared [like prior ones] or set aside to 'look pretty'. So I've also decided to replace my entire 'working set' with DNA-C mods, so soon I'll pretty much ONLY be using DNA-Color (and beyond) mods from now on.. Save the rest for vapocalypse. I'm well on the way with that though, I now have 5 DNA-C mods in-hand, with 5 more either on their way - or 'hopefuls' that may ship (due to the sketchy nature of acquiring many limited-production DNA mods (seems like MOST), I'm still waiting to hear "Oh, we can't find those you ordered, so we'll have to refund you" ).

At least for the time being, I'm saying to myself DNA-C(+) mods only from now on. I may be done ordering the rest for a good while.

Yes, I'm becoming a DNA chip fan, too. But, for now, I have only one mod and one pod, and that's it. To acquire gear in a country which vaping is banned is way too expensive, that's the reason I need to wait for an international trip to renew my arsenal. Vapocalipse is reality here, already [emoji55]

There are so many mother loving snowflakes.

    - I want subohm but MTL only thx! Tobacco flavor natch...
    - Only max-VG liquid for me since PG is basically just antifreeze donchaknow
    - I splurge on only the finest Japanese cotton for my cheap Chinese topper.
    - Rayon? Helloooo... I'm not gonna vape plastic.
    - I just love custard but it's murder on the coils. Has anyone got a good recipe?
    - I literally live in a glass house—what's with this vape film on the walls?
    - I spend thousands of dollars on analogs each year, but the startup cost of vaping is just too high!
    - Commercial juice is such a ripoff. Make my own? Heck no that's too complicated. You say it's not? No, I'm loyal to my juice supplier.
    - I bought a cheap plastic topper and I hate that it requires expensive proprietary drop-in coil assemblies. No, I can't afford an RTA. They're too complicated.
    - I use only 1% nic and chain vape 100mL a day, and am outraged that the equipment wears out so quickly. All the 3000mAh cells on the market are terrible! Gotta think of my health.
    - I vape zero nic for some reason and am immensely proud of myself....
    - I think pod systems are great but salt nic is the devil. So my "pod system" fires at 80W and has an 1100mAh battery. I just wish the nic taste wasn't so strong....

    And then there's me:
    - I put 150W dual coils in my 4mL RTA—it's spectacular but the cotton only lasts 6hrs and I keep burning my lips on the tank! WTF no I won't use an RDA—dripping is too much hassle. o_O

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Lack of customizing existing tank parts.

UD, Smok, any brand,,, they make several attys every year... So they have all of the machining specs,,, seems like they would make alternate chimney &glass kits so you can take a 2ml tank to 6-8mls.(bet this would be super popular in Europe with their 2ml limit) Sure bubble glass came out, but they don't seem to list all the tanks they fit on,,, so you are stuck with trial and error or word of mouth.

Discontinued tanks,,, when you create a winner,,, keep making it,,,,, "return on assets "= all the work, proof of concept & marketing" is already done,, to the point the users advertise for free for you,,, ie: I never see a Reo or Provari ad,,,but the users aren't shy about spreading their loyalty on the net. (true quality doesn't really need to advertise much-its a waste of resources)
