Seems like some people don't have very good friends or family if they think they will turn them in because they have a gallon of nic in the freezer....

Couldn't agree with "You" more . . .

Either way - I think it is time to leave this thread, even "Ignoring" people's post of possible future "fait accompli" or fatal outcomes and the eventual destruction of what is current "social norms" doesn't help anymore . . .

What if the retailers that now sell both vape supplies & sell CBD supplies just say all their vape supplies are for CBD only, do you think they can skirt the FDA and still sell everything as usual? That is the only thing that might work and supplies will still be available. I'm not betting on it, but could work? I see so many vendors carrying both now.
My wife has 2 ProVari running at different voltages.
One for a Nautilus mini and one for a non-nicotine cart that needs significantly less heat.
Our devices can be used for either.
I don't know about tanks, RDAs & squonkers though...

DIY can be as simple or complicated as you want. Me I like simple. I even mix my base simply in the squeeze bottle, I have a mark on the bottle for 100 mg then add half VG and half PG to the other marks to make my 3 mg base. Shake shake shake and base is ready :) Like I say, lazy mixer here LOL It works for me.

I honestly wasn't aware there was base that has PG/VG already in it, until the last few days. But then was told (by company) that most flavors have PG which will affect whatever desired PG/VG result one is going for. When I entered numbers into DIY calculator, PG came up negative. No matter how I adjusted the numbers, it stayed negative, well unless I went up to say 100 ml. I'm going to stay persistent, figure it out, make sure I can DIY. But again, I can understand reasons why some people won't.

Let's hope the black market sellers aren't lazy mixers.

The vapers who buy their eliquid in vape shops expect 100+ flavors in various nic percents which they can try before they buy. That requires retail display space that the black market operator doesn't have. There may be a few eliquids that filed a PMTA and perhaps they will be available after the deadline depending on state laws. If C stores can't sell flavor liquid and all the adult only locations are closed for lack of products to sell the PMTA might not matter.

I think the ease of diy also depends on how picky you are. Some people seem to love all sorts of flavors while I have been vaping the same flavor for almost 2 years. Since my tastebuds bounced back after smoking, I’m rarely satisfied anymore with my diy juice, even though I’ve spend thousands of dollars on flavors, mixing gear and nicotine. There must be something they add to commercial juice, other than sweetener that I’m hooked on. I just can’t get my own juice to taste as good as store bought. Luckily my husband loves the juice I make for him so it doesn’t go totally to waste.

Have you tried Vape Wizard? It smooths out flavors. I have one recipe I make that I add a drop to. I like it best that way as it melds the flavors. Just a thought.

The government will be looking for larger scale suppliers than me. I'd give the husband eliquid and the kid (not that he needs it) but that is About It.

Gotta disagree here. They bust drug users (the small guy) because the goal is to try to get to the suppliers. And in the process it makes them look like they are "cleaning up". And when it comes to nicotine/tobacco, it's a really big no-no when you step on their toes. The govt needs to control tobacco movement/sales. It' s very profitable for them.

So if you give your spouse or your adult kid a cigarette they're going to throw you in jail? There is nothing in ejuice that is illegal. Making your own ejuice is not illegal. They are not illegalizing PG,VG and nicotine. Giving ejuice to your family is not marketing and distributing.

Here you go again trolling me. You are intelligent enough to keep things in context. Yet, you love to go out of context so you can find a reason to troll me. 3rd or 4th time now in 2 weeks.

I guess I just bring out the worst in you. Oh well, can't be friends with everyone.

(Removed personal attack) Her having a large amount of nicotine is not a crime in any way and there is no cause for any concern. Nicotine is not illegal. She could have a 55 gallon drum and it still would be cause for any law enforcement to justify marketing and distribution.

I use 1% of an all-in-one flavoring in my mix. It's subtle enough there is no pallat fatigue so no variety is needed. I mixed a liter and put it in the freezer a couple weeks ago. It will last about 5 months. This makes life simpler and keeps the cost at 1 cent per ml, about $25 a year cost of ingredients.

P.S. There are a few people in the forum who's hobby is trolling, yanking chains, upsetting people for the fun of it. Best response is don't respond.

Unfortunately, some a lot of people do. "Family" means nothing to more people than some may think. I never experienced it in my family, but I was in a line of work where it was a common thing to hear/witness family members treating each other like, well, non-family-like. Sad. There's a lot of backstabbing that goes on in "families" that is more common than most people think. And backstabbing is just the tip of the iceberg.

Nor flavors:). Heck the little Italian shop down the street sells flavors to their customers for their adult beverages. Little Debbie's Cakes wouldn't be around if it weren't for flavorings, lol. Yeah, no I'm not worried about DIY. PG/VG is sold to cosmetic and soap makers among other uses. I'll probably get more nic soon but I also vape without it. For me it's more about the inhale/exhale. I have enough mech mods which will never die and my atties are not going to die. Every vaper should learn to build a mod in case you lose everything in a fire or something and you can no longer get one for some reason. Where there's a will, there's a way. Maybe I'm too laid back about it and not panicked, but I'm damn ...... about it.
In some weird way I almost look forward to living in a vape world where we all have to make our own stuff. Now that would make for a very interesting forum;)

It would be like the original years of vape, the modding forum was so busy!

Commercial juices definitely have additives in them such as citric or malic acid and lots of other things that are difficult if not impossible to recreate. That’s why I decided to take the advice of experienced DIYers and didn’t try to clone a recipe to perfection or make myself nutty trying to get my juice to taste like commercial juices.

Now that I’ve been vaping my own juice for 2 years the commercial juice has too much flavor and additives in it for my now simplified palate lol!

And it’s a good thing with the cost of juice since I’m a chain vaper going thru 25-30 mls a day. And on top of that my wonderful state banned flavored juice- such bs!!

any how that’s what’s great about vaping- there’s a niche for everyone depending on personal preference.
