am i the only one who got the xc4-116? figured more people would be interested in it for its advantages.

I got the XC-116 instead......don't think the 300d difference is that big of a deal, but maybe it is....dunno. I'm not sure the extra work it takes to use ceramic wicking is worth the effort over fiberglass. I got a week out of the fiberglass and it did a fantastic job. Time will tell on the XC; I'm on my first tank now.

Off topic but that mod in your avatar is awesome para. How hard would it be for a guy with zero soldering skills to pull off something like that?

IT REMINDS ME OF A MICRO MACHINE

This res wire I bought from ebay keeps breaking on me and it's really pissing me off. I'm not even pulling on it hard, waste of money. I will have to find some other stuff that is more durable.

someone link me to some stuff that will work and is durable... please :)

I got a 1/4lb spool of 32 Gauge for $30 at a brick n morter shop in Albuquerque Walker Electronic Supply Co. - Home
Check your local electronic supply stores in your area, they may just have some in stock.

I'll do that this weekend thanks. Maybe I'm putting too much force on the wires.. .maybe I'm stronger than I think

You muscled those orings in that thing... take it easy brother! You must look like a guy with gorilla arms

Save it silentt, fold it in half and twist it, then use it. that will get you by until you get some new stuff! It will make your coil longer, but you should be ok. :)

Like the rest of my GG tanks, the iAtty has a frustrating learning curve.
I put each and everyone of them away when my compulsive anxiety became overbearing. I take a break from it.
With each tank it takes a bit, but it all comes together eventually. Once it does I've always found my Nirvana. It seems each get better by the day once I got past being anxious.

Maybe a few of us American members should band together and order from where Imeo ordered. If 3 of us got together it would be about 10 bucks a person and we'd each get over 90 meters.

Count me in and let me know where to send the Paypal to, I will pay 20$ if we can't find one more.

I laugh everytime I see that scene from the movie

.....answering your earlier question; soldering is the easiest part of the mod. Cutting the box into 4 pieces and putting them back together is a bit of a challenge.

I'm no genius but I think the heat generated vs the area would be to low; Let me know if I'm wrong though. I think that's why Imeo has us wraping the coils so tightly together in a small area of the wick.

Then again I have yet to find out what this easy wick change method is all about. Anyone have a link I could see this at?
