axaxa, thanks buddy. But I really asked the man that makes those ceramics to make them better than the previous ones and I paid +30% for them. I also tried to break them and they seem more than ok. Anyway, your work seems too hard and if your GGs work ok in that environment then i am very happy

I work in a boilermaker shop and mine site work and quite often (nearly every day) my work GG suffers drops to concrete and steel that would kill any other PV instantly so breaking a ceramic isn't a big deal but it seems these are more likely to completely fracture than the old ones, the old ones chipped but remained usable for a few weeks.
I tell everyone if they want an indestructible PV get a GG

my issue is the same as most others on this forum, the wick
I need some more wick & maybe a ceramic or 2 but the uk site is always out
Can I buy directly from you if I don't manage to get my order in from the UK site

Im still waiting for my 3.5 wick to arrive. Todays video was on cleaning Penelope dual coil and re using coil and wick.

Once the 3.5 wick arrives I'll make video. you be the judge.

Got it. Thanks. I watched the triple coil video, awesome stuff by the way, and thought that the wick you were using looked bigger than the 3mm. Must have just been the close-up that gave the wick that whole "the camera adds ten pounds" thing.

OK IT JUST ARRIVED. Now I can compare the 3.5 Silica with Nextel XC-116 working on video.

Im cleaning out Ody v2, and two penelopes for this.

Nextal is to big for Dual Wick setup so I will be using one wick on Penelope

Silica 3.5 dual Wick on Penelope

Silica 3.5 Single Wick on Ody v2

all with Dual Coil .8 ohms


Once im done testing and reviewing will let you know.

Imeo I got the 3.5mm wick from goldengreek.co.uk at the UK Vapefest today
The wick is awesome
I even managed to get your ready made wire
There was a big long cue to get the GGTS, Penelope and most of all your wick & ready made wire
People were asking for 20-30 metres at a time, so the guys decided to give 5 metres at a time to be fair to others who also wanted it lol.
I got all my friends to line up and get me the wire and wick so managed to get 30 metres

I didn't get the GGTS as my ones on order but did get another Penelope as a spare, then use on my GGTS when it arrives

My Update Status

1 wick (Nextal XC-116) because diameter is pretty fat ( nothing wrong being fat HUH).

Pro
Works beautifully for thin and thick juice VERY VERY GOOD
Wick has no taste so you can taste the juice the way it was meant to be. Awesome.
Wick is extremely, extremely, durable, It can get re washed and re used at least 3 times before tossing.

2 wicks (Nextal XC-116)
its not needed because this wick doesn't fit do to its size

Cons
Some extra work needs to be done prior to using. Must burn the wick with a burner for 25-45 secodns at a time till its beat orange red. I then I soak it in cold water and with a paper towel dry off any excess water and with tweezers i would burn it again till orange red. then I would leave it alone for 1 minute to cool. Now its ready to be wrapped in a coil.

This is not needed because this wick doesn't fit do to its size. Which is a good thing. it may result to 1-2 wicks.
