Imeo I got the 3.5mm wick from goldengreek.co.uk at the UK Vapefest today :)
The wick is awesome :D
I even managed to get your ready made wire :D :D :D
There was a big long cue to get the GGTS, Penelope and most of all your wick & ready made wire :)
People were asking for 20-30 metres at a time, so the guys decided to give 5 metres at a time to be fair to others who also wanted it lol.
I got all my friends to line up and get me the wire and wick so managed to get 30 metres :D :D :D

.......n it they're supposed to be a global seller not selling all their stock at a vape meet, still no wick on they're website and it sounds like there won't be :(

People are ordering the wicks in high volume because if this very reason of supply. They don't stay in stock. People don't know when stock will return. Therefore, they order them by the buckets. This is how supply and demand works. Once the fear of suppliers never being completely out of stock reduces, people will order less because they will know that they can order at any time. Wick, wire, misc parts and supplies should ALWAYS be in stock. Always!
I commend Imeo for innovative new creations. What I have a problem with is developing new products at the same time as others that already own a previous product any get supplies for theirs. Now, with that said, maybe this is not one persons fault. But if you are going to design a new product, you should be able to comfortably supply "stuff" for a product already out there.

True and unfortunately it's always been this way with the GG Line. Also for those of us who don't have a lot of disposable income when they do come in stock they don't stay in stock until a pay day comes around, fortnightly in my case and monthly for some of my friends.
The only real way around it is to have the machine shops to be constantly producing a large volume of spare parts as well as new products. Ideally you're right in that parts should always be available for existing products or you end up with owners having to shelve things they've paid good money for not because they no longer want to use them but because they can't due to a lack of spares or in the case of ody's and penelope's lack of the consumables needed to make them work.
The only reason I still have an Ody that's usable is because I still have a V1 which I was able to stock up on wick for, I still haven't been able to buy any 3 or 3.5mm wick for my v2 and have now run out of the supplied wick resulting in a paperweight :(

Thats why preorders were made VP. I am trying to let people buy anything they need. And I will make more units than preorders so we will have stock for a long time.
As for the spares, I hope that my sellers are satisfied with the quatity I send them. I send them what they asked for, not less this time

Btw Imeo I hope my posts didn't come across as me being mad, I understand you're only one man and are trying to do the best you can and I do appreciate it. If anything it the popularity of your line of products just shows how well they work, I value my GG's more than any mod I own and I do own a few ;)

I'd rather wait 2 months than have a chinese made GG, once you make a move like that quality will suffer for sure.

And I echo this as well.

Again, MY rant was about the supplies. And as mentioned, GG products are popular indeed. Eventually, the suppliers should level off and always have these parts on hand. Until that time, people are going to buy up why they can.

Me, for one, I've helped out a couple users with whatever little spares I've had. I don't have much, but some don't have ANY. And when their ceramic cracks, or wicks run out, I HATE hearing that their device has turned into a paper weight.

The preorders should be a great idea. It should allow everyone to own a GG product. I just hope that suppliers realize that they need to MAXIMIZE their order requests. Sadly, sometimes I think they order low on purpose to keep people clamoring for worship, begging, etc. it drives popularity. Those that get it are thrilled. Those that don't are left in a dark room with no light bulbs to enjoy their surroundings in. Supply and demand SUCKS while demand outweighs supply.
