between here and there

I agree, good fats like olive oil will kill the appetite. Before my gall bladder surgery I could not eat any fat, after wow it was great! When I bake healthy goodies I use olive oil and honey, no sugar. Satisfies and fills you right up. I just made some Date Nut Raisin cucumber bread, yumm! Had a bumper crop of cukes this year LOL. We grow a lot of our organic food, veggies and fruits.

I have a pasta salad I make that has an olive oil/vingerette type dressing.....good stuff and its doesn't take much to fill you up either...

Sounds yummy :) We eat a big salad everyday and a little turkey or chicken, fresh fruit daily too. It really does make you say healthier too.

Has everyone seen this?? Time to get serious about your stock pile! FDA seizes documents from Juul in latest e-cigarette crackdown | Reuters

I just picked up a liter of nic and a couple more Picos. Couldn't think of anything else to get. I only had 2 Picos in the stash box to back up the 6 me and the wife are using. Don't feel any urge to experiment with mods. They're just a battery in a fancy case anyway. No idea how long Pico's last. I haven't had one die yet. If they all die I'm sure the Provaris will still be around. And if the Provaris do go down the Silver Bullets would probably survive a giant asteroid strike and the return of the dinosaurs.

Tonight I went to a town meeting to talk about Fema. We live in a flood plain behind an old earthen levee which due to historical accident isn't maintained by the City, State, or anyone else. It got dropped 30 years ago when the City renamed the department that used to maintain it, which technically invalidated their legal responsibility. It was recently assessed as having a 92% chance of failing in the next 50 years. Apparently they have finally come up with a plan to fix the Levee to Fema standards, including a funding mechanism.

We have a plan for what to grab if we get the word that the river is expected to top the levee. We keep our important documents together in a plastic tub. So if notice is really short we would grab that, meds, and our computer boxes and a few clothes. If we get a bit longer notice I would probably throw some nic and mods and tanks in a tub. Maybe I should have a more organized vaping escape plan. Like keep the items I would take with me together in one tub instead of scattered around multiple stash tubs tubs under the bed. Or I could keep my vape stash in the attic, which would probably still be above water level unless the house collapsed.

In July, Durbin, a Democrat, and Murkowski, a Republican, introduced legislation that would place restrictions on e-cigarette flavorings that appeal to children like gummy bear, chocolate cupcake and tutti fruitti.
"

Seriously, must everyone over the age of 18/21 be required to suddenly become bitter grumpy decrepit old farts?
I will always love chocolate cupcakes - at least the vape form is non-fattening.

People just seem to love their pitchforks.

The one complaint I've seen since the RX75 came out was that the mechanical door lock switch can get stuck or stop working. As it has a fire bar with a good amount of resistance, I've never used the lock and it's never fired in my pocket. When I want to turn it off it's just five clicks, so the switch seemed redundant to me anyway. Other than that it's been good in terms of battery life and consistent power until the battery runs down. Leaky toppers haven't caused the sprung 510 to cause any issues either. I use it in power mode so I can't judge it's TC worthiness. Not quite as smooth hitting as a ProVari or a DNA device but very close so no problem with choppiness, which I seem to have issues with in many cases.

Maybe I've just been lucky. All I know is it is easy to hold, easy to fire and almost as short as a true side by side device.

Another Rolo fan here. For the several I've had and used, I never gave in to the temptation to the lock switch (we'd been warned from the get-go). Many times I thought to list one for sale, and each time, I backed off the idea. Now, with these low prices, it makes no sense at all to even think on it. Plus, I really still like that mod!

Those are really tempting, but I'm disinclined to buy gear unless it's either so cheap that I don't mind throwing in the trash when it dies (like the Aspire Breeze devices I bought recently) or I think I can use it indefinitely (all my other gear). At $65, the Orion doesn't fit the first category, and it doesn't fit the second either due to the internal battery and the question: How long will replacement pods be available?

That lil Orion Podesque is $65????? oH MY.

Most of the new ones wick juice a little better than the KF2. They have to because many use them for higher wattage applications.

Still loving and using the KF2s. I set them up either in Nano mode, or my fave, Diamond mode. :)

The three new SXK Doggy Style attys finally arrived from China yesterday. They sat in China a little longer than normal, but made it safe and sound. That makes 4 in my Doggy collection now. At $11 each it made sense to buy complete tanks instead of a bunch of component parts for repair and backup.

I have been thinking (dangerous, right?). This whole thing reminds me of a few years ago when I lived in WA state. The tribes sold cigs on the rez for about half price. Being a sovereign nation, they didn't have to collect/pay gov sin taxes. The government didn't like that so there was a war for years. Gov raided their stores, confiscated trucks and shipments, put people in jail, fined them and generally harassed them into giving up. Tribes fought the good fight but finally agreed to charge tax. I watched the price of a carton go from 13.00 to 27.50 overnight. As far as I heard, the raids and harassment stopped, they just wanted the money. That was one of my biggest incentives to quit.

I think online sales will be shut down, since they call it a tobacco product. If shops continue, we will find prices double due to taxes. Then gov will be happy.

Exactly the reason we are all stocking up with more than we think we'll ever need! Better safe than sorry.

Does anyone think China shipments will still make it through?

I remember hearing someone say that ordering gunpowder online was illegal, yet they were able to do it every time. Although I have no idea about the legality of ordering such a thing online.

Regardless, I would hope the same remains true about China shipments. In the same vein, I would also hope the government would care more about 'all-in-one' type solutions like the Juul, than for open systems. It would be hard for kids to conceal all kind of wires, coils, attys, mods, big-'....' lithium batteries, and chargers for those batteries.

I haven't had a Pico die yet. I only have two 75W, a silver one and a black one. They seem to be good battery savers and great vapes. I rarely use them anymore, but they are good backups. I do tend to grab the iStick 20W sometimes when I leave the house.

Well...prices may double...IF the shops stay open...

After Pennsylvania placed a 40% tax on e-cigarettes (Mods, Tanks, e-juice, coils, etc.) on 10/1/2016...about 92% of the B&M's have closed...

Where did you get that 92% figure? My understanding is that it was closer to 25%. Both the B&Ms in my town in central Montgomery County are still there, as the very first B&M I ever went to back in December of 2013, which is a good bit further away, but was the closest one at the time.

I ordered some more flavors. I looked at my flavor stash and I do have quite a bit stocked already. Now thinking about more PG VG to have on hand.
Same here. I was getting low on a few of my favorites. They came in today and I am again, good to go. I make blends of my favorites and just mixed up 120 mls of my very favorite favorite (Sgt. Rock Menthol). That is enough to make 1200ml of finished e-liquid.

I noticed that there is now an extra charge for some flavorings and my Creme DeMenthe just happens to be one of them. They had one that doesn't require the haz mat charge and claim it is just as good. I sure hope they are right.

I think I am pretty well set on vg/pg for now though so will hold off for a while.
