Ive been playing with the Savour MTL RTA for over an hour.
Easy to install coils and wick on this deck.
All things considered I think its easier than the Bereserker, which also isnt that hard to work on.
I think I like side by side posts rather than opposing posts and working with grub screws and Allen keys rather than slot or philips screws and screwdrivers is preferable for me.
Ive had the Berserker and Sirens2 for about 5months now and the Berserker became one of my favourite tanks.
I made 2 x 1.37ohm 28g K/A1 coils (accidentally got them identical) and installed one in the Berserker(2ml) and one in the Savour, packed in the cotton, fired them up and kinda over did it on 9mg juice going back and forth comparing the two at various watts and airflow settings. Got a spin and and a far away look sort of thing going for a while.
I vape flavourless, flavourless has a taste, its subtle but its there and some tanks/coils mute the taste and others deliver it. Both the Berserker and the Savour MTL RTA deliver the taste pretty much as it is in this brief comparison.
Both have the draw I like, really similar. The Savour feels like it might be a cooler vape at the same settings as the Beserker.
The DTL center post on the Savour is too loose and the MTL center post might be just a little too tight
I like that the Berserker has a 4.5ml extension glass and chimney, I like 4ml+ tanks and using the extension on the Berserker cools the vape down, a bit.
One thing that stands out in this comparison is that I like the Savours drip tip a lot more than the Berserkers, which ever tank I put it on is the better tank!
I think over all, at this stage(2hrs in) I still prefer the Berserker 24mm over the Savour but either would do what I want done equally as well.
Comparing the Berserker and Savour tanks over the last hour or two has made me very aware of just how good the Naut2/Ijoy Elf and Innokin Zenith tanks and coils are.
I can easily replicate a similar vape experience on all of them, taste and draw.
Next up, a taste off. Minty, menthol crispy green apple.
This is what happens on days off work. Nothing gets done.
