Thank you for your clear answers.

Bu...Bu...But how can you? Yo..You're....Big Bulli. You'll be like the guy with Jenny tattooed on his arm who now hangs out with Bertha:confused:

lol, it's sold. I haven't been using it as much the last couple weeks, I've been repairing dead ce2's and working on my own repairable atties. I prefer my torpedo tank. I'm sure when my clearome comes that will be sold as well.

I don't yet have an A2. I would like to buy one and use it with both standard cartridges and with tanks.

Should I buy an "A2 Atomizer" and a "A2 update kit to A2-T" in order to use both storage systems?

I've seen some postings that talk about a hole needing to be drilled in an A2 in order to update it for the T kit. Is this only with older units or if a hole is drilled does this make it unusable with standard cartridges?

If I'm trying to do too much with one unit, I could buy both but hope to not spend so much.

The A2-t update kit does not come with an air hole drilled in it because you need to make sure it lines up with the coil on your A2 just right, you could try and contact Cetin through e-mail and see if he can have your A2-t update kit drilled to match up with the a2 you are purchasing. The hole needs to be drilled on the side of the piercing plate section, this is not used with the A2 just the base is. look back at the videos on page 1 of this thread. The A2 uses dse701 carts if you want to use 510 drip tips and carts you need this: 701 mouth piece to 510/901 drip tip adapter The A2-t only excepts ego type a tanks(or ego type a drip tips if you pop out the piercing plate) at the moment, an upgrade for ego type b tanks will be available eventually.

In addition to asking Cetin to drill the hole for you, you should probably order the Ego-like cone with your A2, not just because it's aesthetically more pleasing, but because it offers added protection to the thread connection in case you drop your e-cig. I've seen two or three reports of people having broken them.

I got my A2T yesterday. I used the initialsetup of wick and coil.It metered at 2.4 ohms, so I tried it on my ego and 3.7 box mod. Ok vapor from both but no flavor. So I figured it will be better at 5v, which is my normal vape voltage. So I made a coil that metered at 3.5 ohms and mentally preparing myself for what was to come. Man, great vapor, no burny throat cough, but strangely, no flavor. I normally use 80-90% VG liquids, so I tried some 50/50 PG Hype. I got a faint whiff of flavor. Ok, so after reading the threads, I tried making a Genisis vertical coil from the ss400 patch that came with the a2t. I can kinda now taste my VG liquids but no where as pronounced as a CE2-x XL.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the fit and finish of the a2t, the reparable coil, and the size (I really didn't like the look and faucet head size of the ato-mizer). But I at the same time a bit disappointed how this wicks, and lack of any flavor. I'm sure once I get the kinks out I'll be as happy as my expectations.

I'm now digging thru my ce2 graveyard and cannibalizing some of the fat wicks (I don't think the thin wick that the a2t came with really does a good job). Where can I get some more of this fat wick without having to buy a big ... rope and debraiding it? Any tip to get the flavor up to at least a ce2 would also be appreciated. cheers.

Looks like it will be here maybe tomorrow. I got something else in the mail not as good but nice all the same. :)

Cool, can you let us or me know how the draw is? Reason I ask is I tried one of those Bud/Sapphire attys and they are built similar (or seems like it) to the A2-T and the draw was really really too tight for me and wasn't sure if the Bulli has a similar draw?

Thanks

I agree with you my gotvapes order had a couple of the bud cartos in there for free, the draw on them sucks. The A2-t has a much better draw than these. The thing I did not like was the lack of flavor of both A2 atomizers, which is similar to the bud cartos, I use a mint/menthol e-liquid so that is saying something.

Thanks Bulli, I was going to bring that point up too as I was going back and forth with the Bud and a CE2 and it was like night and day with flavor. I just use a Dekang juice so kinda your situation too :)

Think I'll stick with the CE2's. Would like to try a Scubagen but I am mechanically challenged but maybe I could be good at it?
