Got mine a couple days ago, set up an A2, set up an A2-T, and pretty quickly had success with the A2, so I've been running that ever since.

Had wicking issues with the A2-T and haven't had the time to sit down and really sort it out. All I tried so far is the recommended 2 wick strands wrapped in SS. I think my SS rolling skills are to blame... That or I didn't have it touching the coil properly. Tried a couple times with no luck. Any tips? juice shouldn't be the problem, it's 80/20.

MediocreT, I'm sitting here with my A2-T and A2-TM, both wicking fine. Here are my tips, for what they're worth: I make sure there is a very short length of the wick sticking out the top of the SS roll, that actually goes into the tank cartridge hole when the top section of the Bulli that holds the tank is screwed on. I also have a longer length of the wick sticking out the bottom of the SS roll, so the wick alone, and not the SS, touch the wick that is part of the coil. And finally, and probably most important, every now and then the wicking needs to be sort of primed - and that is accomplished by holding your thumb or a finger over the hole in the spike section of the atomizer, and taking several strong puffs without the power button or switch being engaged. Actually, I puff with the hole covered, and then without, in sequence, two or three times each. After that, wicking is back to perfect. That's a tip I first got by watching a video review of the Bulli tanks by Rawveg on UK Vapers.

MXBMW dropped me a clue or two about dripping on one. Took a spare ego cone, put a small hole in roughly where it's located on the tank spike part of the A2-TM, ground the top off enough for a 801 drip tip to fit on top of the cone, and I'm enjoying it in this configuration. Fairly easy to get a couple of quick drops in and on the coil, decent, thickish vape and surprisingly good flavor.

Not posting pictures of it just yet...it was a quickie lunchtime run-home-and-pull-out-the-dremel affair mod and it's ugly as hell.

A2-TM arrived today in the post, so 8 days to the uk from initial order. Somehow managed to bugger up the first attempt at a coil but nailed it on the second attempt. First impressions, very pleased with it. I think I'll need to experiment a little to perfect the build technique, particularly on the wicking section, thanks for the tips yvilla :) Overall its vaping well. Compared to my current boge or kangers in a carto tank the flavour is improved, though vapour production is not quite as high as the kanger horizontal coils. I'm a happy fella though as I love to tinker and therefore this suits me down to the ground.

Well I picked up an A-2T SS in a package deal with another mod. So now I have one of each model ;) Figured if I made a good offer for both the mod and the A-2T the seller would want to move it on to me and save on shipping. Regardless it arrived today. I cleaned it up, and setup my coil/wicks and used one of the about 20 type A tanks I had in the drawer. It is working great using a 1.6Ω coil. But darn those are little tanks! I went through that type A like I used to smoke an analog!!! OK not that fast, but it was quick! So for anyone that is on the fence between the A-2T/TM, I highly recommend the TM!

Thanks for the tips all.

Another question: I ordered 2 bases and two upgrade kits. They said they would drill the holes so that each upgradekit would match a base. Well, they forgot one of the bases... Not too bad caus enoth upgrades match the one base they did send but of course that means I can't use both at the same time. They offered to send the fOrgotten base, which is great, but now I have a dilemma: how can I ensure that the hole on my upgrade will match the new base? I thought about putting a washr or o-ring on top of the threads of the base or just adjusting the positioning of the coil, but hoping someone can suggest something better.

Thanks

I'm presuming you want the air inlet hole to the side of the coil, correct? You should be able to take white out and make a mark on the outside of the base in front of the two terminals. Screw on the top tube and put out a white out dot on the side approx. 45 degrees from the terminal mark. Screw the base on and off a few times to make sure the dot's in the right place, and then drill the tube where the dot is located.

Thanks Clyde. You're right that I'm talking about aligning the air hole and coil. However the problem is that I already have the two upgradekits with holes drilled in them, but Bulli is mailing the second base to me which was supposed to be included in the first place, hole already aligned. Right now I have two upgradekits matched to one base, with a second base on the way.

My mission is to make the new base align correctly to the upgradekit I already have. My thinking is that the easiest way is to adjust how far the top part screws onto the base by using washers or o-rings, thus manipulating the hole's placement. Or, I could simply build the coil with a unique placement to fit the already existing coil. I suppose I could also seal the existing hole and drill a new one, but I am "tool poor" meaning I don't have any drills for the job, so if I can find an effective way to avoid drilling, I'll take that route.

Update.... Could not buy myself a screw at Ace or Lowe's. Close but no cigar. Did go to www.laptopscrews.com online and buy myself spare screws in both 3 and 5 mm sizes...insane selection, and I'm just about completely sure that what I'm getting will work. (Going with pan head instead of wafer head screws.)

Another good place to look would be laptop repair places, but Oklahoma just got its first snow on the ground Sunday night, and Okies don't drive too well on ice and snow. It's not like I've got nothing else to vape in the meanwhile. If I turn out to be snowed in later today, I will take the spare time and clean out and sort my vaping supply room and swiffer out my kitchen floors to look for the little sucker. That sounds like a smarter use of my time than risking getting t-boned by another Southerner in a pickup without snow tires or chains. C'mon it's frakkin' Oklahoma, you know this stuff's not going to stay on the ground for more than a day or two!

I'm also thinking I'll grab an A2 and maybe even a spare base in SS should they become available in a couple of weeks.

Okay, local 3rd party mac repair shop helped me out. Turns out these are commonly used as laptop screws....used to hold together certain laptop cases, including older macs.

Oxidized a longer SS mesh wick, set up the coil on one end, the other goes right into the feeder spike. Not a bad setup, really.

A nice, nice little touch is a juice bottle with a medicine style dropper top. Takes a lot of the guesswork out of dripping on the spike...drip exactly how much juice you want precisely on where you want it to go. Not the best dripping solution, but adequate, and allows me to drip in addition to using tanks on the long wire wick configuration.

Tempted to grab a downgrade kit, but I'll try to wait for more stuff to be in stock...trying to get all the money I can out of the 10 euro posting fee instead of incurring multiple shipments. Guess I'm funny that way; I'll think nothing of spending $80 on a mod, but almost cough up blood at the thought of spending $15 on shipping.
