the SOLE reason i'm not using a flipped donut today is that the tools i have that work for getting the seals out dont much like going into that middle hole (havent cut the ridge out yet, but i'm using the thinnest tweezers i have) and based on the amount of juice the vision went through i knew i'd need close to 3 fills for the day. i filled it once last night... got through about half a clearo of juice before leaving, filled full, then did a 1/2 full top up before leaving my car. so its probably not had much more than 1.2-1.5 mls actually go through the coil :p

could one do rinse, gunk, rinse and dry burn repeat to get more life out of these? ( i know dry burning takes life out of the coil lol) and i'm loving how fast i can go through juice on these

and no, i didnt. put about 3.7-3.8 through the vision, and the only stuff that went into the mouthpiece (and stayed there) was juice that recondensated due to the mass amount of vapor these things give off.

i'm going to rinse out my vision today (assuming i can get the seal out) and go from there for that one.

i think my gunk issue is to do with my vg. its proper vg (not watered down etc) so its a relatively thick juice at 30%. this is why i'm wondering if i can do a rinse without the burn every second time these need maintenance, want to preserve these for a decent amount of time

What's a Volt? I see GotVapes has some start up kits . . . I could get a charger and pt that way . . . but I can't tell what batt types they are. . . vendor assist anyone?

It's a KR808D-1 slim PV, pretty much like the Bloog MaxxFusion, Smoov, or V4L kits. Has gotten tons of great reviews.

How long have you been vaping for? Because it's not at all unusual for folks to go through one or more periods where they can't taste their juices. It seems as though it happens most often (and frequently for more than just one bout) not long after switching from analogs, but for some it can even happen two or three months later, either for the first time or in a recurrence of the earlier experience. It's all a part of the healing process. For me it happened in the first couple of weeks and lasted maybe a week or so. It passes.

Its not that though because my boges have plenty of flavor

wow there is a lot of posts to go through. I may just give the fluxo another shot. last time I bought was the metal several mo ago but might try these again. I love what they did to the center plug. I actually emailed them suggestion they make that the design of the bottom over a year ago but anyway love that the center one is the design I wanted and can pop in on the bottom.

so one basic q how long has everyone been getting these to last with no cracking or leaking. and do they still not leak after pulling the outer casing off and putting it back on?

No cracks under any circumstances, no leaks no matter how many times I've removed the tube and replaced it, as there's a new O-ring around the connector base that stops that from happening. In fact, that O-ring made it possible for me to build a CE2 ghetto tank. :)

sorry to correct you but gotvapes carries a volt that is an egoish style that has a voltage readout on the bottom. it is not vv but the display lets you know how much battery life you have left. 1 downside to these is that an ego cone does not fit on it.

Not sure why they'd lose flavour then other than needing a cleaning. Have you checked the resistance on the Fluxo(s) with a meter (or ProVari if you have one)?

I did check the fluxos with the dmm and im getting 3.4ohm and box says 2.6-2.8ohm . Im getting 3.4 on all of them in the box .Im using a expensive Fluke DMM . So thats wrong as well but even at 3.4ohm i dont see how that is creating a problem with no flavor at all . I tried it at different voltages and all the same , well after 4.7 volts it gets a burnt taste . All 4 in the box have no flavor at all . Iv even let the juice sit in there for a couple days . These are all new fluxo so cleaning isnt the problem .

I'll admit that I haven't read every post on this thread, but I did read enough to see that the base on the new Deluxe CE2s is different from the older versions and now I have a question. Is the base of the CE2 Deluxe the same diameter as the older CE2 versions?

The reason is ask is because I am using the Arry Tank from Stormy's Vapor Cellar. I like this tank because it just uses the innards from a clear CE2-XL. Just pop off the tube and insert into the tank, no cutting or punching of the steel tubes. The current versions of the CE2s that I have fit really snug into the tank ends, so if the base is a different size, they won't fit properly.

I have several older clearos (the ones with the skinny wicks) that still work, and several of the old version fat wick ones that I haven't opened yet. The only ones that don't still work are ones that I accidentally destroyed. With simple and regular maintenance, these things just keep on vapin...gotta love it. But I will need to replace eventually, and will probably buy more before I really need to.

So I have a question for anyone out there that has done the BD Syringe Mod on the previous versions of the CE2s...do these new Deluxe Fluxos still fit into the syringe tube? TIA

p.s. to Chris or Danno; Have you ever considered carrying a tank mod at Got Vapes? If you did I'd never have to go anywhere else...:2cool:

The New CE2 bases work Much better than the old ones. I don't think you will have a problem using them in a Tank Mod.

I've been looking for CE2/Fluxo tanks, thanks for linking one. Ordered, I'll let you know how the newer Fluxo's work as I have a lot of them in my stash. :)

Looking forward to your results. I think you'll like the Arry Tank, all the other tanks that I found out there require cutting or punching holes in a steel carto. I'm really surprised that there aren't more available that just take the clear CE2 innards...

Ever since I tried my first CE2, I've been off Boge/DC's. The CE2's are leeps and bounds ahead of polyfil cartos in terms of vapor production and flavor (strong personal opinion, yes). The only gripe I have is the coil gunking... which I ran through cleaning this week, pulling on a cleaned one now actually.

But yeah, I see DC tanks all over the place (even have one), but the only CE2 tank I could find was from MAP and no availability.

Cleaning went well, only killed one (SS 2.4-2.6ohm) and I knew it before I even hit the button that last time. I definitely prefer the clear's for cleaning. I really didn't want to order more of the Reg's either, but for sampling juices or changing throughout the day the Reg's are great... keep my XL's for the juices I really like. Thanks again Mindfield!
