FT just listed yesterday and the listing does not contain the word "styled" (AKA clone). Some are speculating they are either just real, backdoor, or B stock. $13 though. I might end up with one.
Cthulhumod had declared: The Cthulhu on FT is clone(fake). We had our own CNC factory and all our rta comes with authentic qurey code. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I also got my Cthulhu in today, with a little encouragement from Roxy , I got it up and running, Im impressed with its looks and quality, this does not look or feel like a 30.00 atty. I cant find any fault with it except that Im dizzy from the nic enhancement. WOW.

I just got mine built today, did a dual 7 wrap 24 gauge kanthal around a 3 mm coil jig, came about to about .4 ohms but i've been getting fluctuations. I tried with 26 gauge kanthal and either the wire was loose in the whole or snapped off. Sadly, I got some really bad tastes, I gave it a quick rinse and scrub in soapy water before I built it, but i never took the positive pin out, so I think i still have some machine residue on it. Gonna try again tomorrow. How low have you guys been pushing it?

Cthulhu replied that they will offer replacement glass. So keep your eye out.
Cool. I figured they were coming. I saw a post on reddit where Cthulhu is giving away 30 glass tubes to people, so I figured they would probably sell them too.

Got mine yesterday, SN [HASHTAG]#1721[/HASHTAG]. Machining is a bit rough, burrs in the posts, and air intake, I need to clean those up, and give it a bath.

Try pushing a screwdriver or something through, might be all you need.

Anyone have any idea if a 1.5mm left handed drill bit would work to get the 2mm screws out, or would it be too big and damage the threading?

Can you find a smaller one? I would be worried you'd damage the threads and have to retap.

I got mine today. Build first a 3mm coil, 26 ga Kanthal, 8 wraps. I must have messed up the wicking as it was leaking like crazy. Then, I ripped it apart and build using a 2.5 mm bit, so it had more space. It still leaks, especially after fill-up.
The wicking is not for the faint of heart. :)
You really need to get that down.
My impressions: not a lot of airflow, issue with leaking and wicking it takes some time.
Compared with Lemo2. Lemo2 comes on top (for me). YMMV.
To be honest, I did not "heart" Lemo2 in the beginning, but I guess, as I worked on it, I learned to do the wicking just right. I guess Cthulhu may be the same. It is my first double coil atty.
My advice: wicking often in the beginning until you get good at it. Watching youtube videos may help too.
I'm not impressed.

This video will show you a tried and true wicking method:
Always worked for me with any vg/pg juice and no leaks using japanese cotton and 2.5mm coils.

I haven't tried it but supposedly another reliable way is running the tails all the way through the channels until they are slightly protruding into the tank section, you must thin them out in the channels so they don't crowd it too much, I'd probably try that if I were using rayon.

For leaks on filling try closing off the air control when you fill and flip the tank upside down before opening the air again.

I'm using 2.4mm coils. The wick channels are huge. What I did was cut my tails into a V and stuff the whole thing in.

Remember to close your afc ring if your top filling. Then invert it and open your afc while its inverted. And hold it inverted for a good 20s. That usually prevents flooding on top fill attys that don't have juice control.
