Quick question...I'm presuming that if used with the ato-miser from inhaler or the vape mate, the arm wouldn't be able to fold down all the way. Does that mean that there is still the possibility of an accidental firing with the production design which allows for vaping at a right or lesser angle?
Well, the Darwin was obviously designed with standard atomizers in mind. Since the atty arm has to be in the full down position to shut off the device, I'm guessing that with your scenario, the answer would have to be yes.
Mine shuts off before it gets fully down position. I'll position it at the cutoff and take a pic.
In the meantime, this works really really well with the Darwin.

Yes, but is yours the production version? If so, great! My friend Sterno was wondering if the map tank mod would work with the Darwin...
...by the way, think you could load up a ato-miser up with blue foam and turn it into a big honkin' carto?
The easily configurable settings are nice, and I like the idea of being able to swivel the atty out of the way, but like others have posted before; I will not buy a PV that I have to mail back for a battery swap. I can not think of any sensible reason why the battery could not be swappable by the owner. I can only think that they are hoping to protect their technology by making the device completely sealed. I think that is going to be a deal breaker for a lot of people though. Some good advanced features though and a thorough article on the device.
With some nice camo duct tape, you can attach just about anything...
My days of not taking you seriously, Angus, have come to a middle....
Just want to verify....since the OP uses 801s on the Darwin, the Darwin can take a ohm reading of an atty even when its on ad adapter, right?
Think I might be able to get a GG AFS (version 2) on this puppy?
Yes... and yes.
I believe Parallex2 uses an AFS on his.

WHAT? No props for the Firefly reference?![]()
Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.
WHAT? No props for the Firefly reference?
And the v2 is also a universal (ie 'all mods') edition. The v3, the newest one, costs $90, and has a collector tank.
In GG land, AFS generally means for all mods, and the AVS is the one that is specifically engineered to only work for GG products.
Let's talk about what's really important for a moment, shall we? Can I attach a lanyard to a Darwin?
