For those of you that actually have twitter accounts, maybe this should start trending:

"Taking bribes and shutting down the online vape market will kill millions of adult former smokers that had switched" #ScottGottliebPaidAssassin #VapingIsNotSmoking #SaveVaping

"Taking bribes and banning flavors will kill millions of adult former smokers that had switched" #ScottGottliebPaidAssassin #VapingIsNotSmoking #SaveVaping

Gottlieb (not his content actually) but how he is saying it, is starting to remind me of that movement of folks who feel the earth is doomed thanks to humanity, and that no one should have more kids. I have read a few of their manifestos, and the fevered pitch is the same. So, I am going to remark in his direction (mostly facetiously) "If you are spending THAT amount of energy on this and you believe in your cause THAT MUCH, why don't you just kill yourself then, you'd REALLY be doing the planet a favor?"

But, they never do it. It is sad, really, that type of failure of logic.

(I don't hashtag but) Don't ban flavors, ban Gottlieb from planet earth. There is always space force he can go "do good" there.

I have always said "I am not dumb enough to want to live forever, nor naive enough to think I can." Really though we are already having problems with over crowding and limited resources and making people live that much longer would greatly compound that issue. Not to mention that if "THEY" truly believe in "man-made global warming" this would also further compound that issue as well. Personally I don't think that conspiracy theory is possible and even if it was, it is certainly not probable.

“Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.”
―Robert A. Heinlein

All human interaction is either conspiracy or consent.

I don't believe in the incidental theory of history.

Good luck. :)

p.s. As long as there is a viable medium of exchange, there'll be room for more. I'll have my share, you'll have your share. That's collaboration.

I get so incredibly sick of EVERYTHING needing to be dumbed down "for the children" at ALL TIMES.

Don't these people realize that there are the occasional adults walking around this planet too - and even, dare I say it, "free in the wild"???

Even take for instance this board considering 'curse words' that aren't even curse words - on a forum for adults.

We should start a lobbying group: "Adults' Rights"!

Robot babies. You can program them not to vape. A real child out in the world will do almost anything. For example I once drank toilet bowl cleaner at age 2, while my mom's back was turned. I have no memory of it but, per my mom, I said, "This doesn't taste good." It did necessitate a hasty trip to the ER but I turned out fine... well, how I turned out.

And yet, the magical elixir that is toilet bowl cleaner can still be obtained on the free market. This, "For the children stuff," only works on a sinful population with a lot of government aid and bolstering.

They'd be far better off banning freaking Tide pods but that is never going to happen as apparently everyone LOVES those, so too bad teen Tide pod eaters, you are consuming a product that everyone seems to love. I will say, I am still on liquid laundry detergent AND well, liquid dishwasher detergent but my dishwasher is from the 80s and actually functions better with the old stuff, there is actually a label that says so on it so we did our experiments and it was truth.

Again, this has nothing to do with the kids. Kids are tools to be trotted out during specious arguments and that only and usually works when the pool of users who is informed enough to know is small enough that everyone else goes, "The government is looking out for our kids."

So it won't even be an alcohol prohibition in similarity I believe there are far more drinkers than vapers.

Stock up.

Let's not forget that the only reason that things are still pretty much business as usual for the entire industry is the change in the FedGov's attitude that kicked the August 8, 2018 deadline for PMTAs four years down the road.

At the moment.

At the moment.
Sure.

Now consider what we would have available "at the moment" if it hadn't been for that change in attitude....

Does that mean it can't shift back? No. But "at the moment" things are looking much better than anyone would have predicted two years ago today.

Especially my "stash".................
Mine hasn't really changed much since mid 2016. When the Deeming was proposed back in the spring of 2014 (not many months after the miracle of vaping got me off a 2 PAD that I fully expected to kill me), I resolved to be set for life by the time it was finalized, and I think I succeeded. So now I'm just coasting.

But it is good to see smokers still have options.

This isn't germane to vaping specifically but it does illustrate the absence of reasoning skills for a significant portion of our populace.

Recently a rapper in the ATL area was hospitalized with intestinal bleeding which he, mistakenly, attributed to his consumption of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. For reasons unbeknownst to me, this was deemed newsworthy and a poll was taken on the evening news as to what actions should be taken to address the situation. Yes, I am completely serious folks.

Despite having a medical professional state on air that there was no way that the Cheetos themselves caused his aliment, at one point more than 15% of the persons polled thought they should be banned outright! I say 'at one point' because I got so disgusted I had to change the channel so I do not know the final result of the poll.

If I had to guess, I'd say that those who voted to ban are probably not much different than those who would like to see vaping banned/severely restricted. They don't consume Cheetos so as far as they are concerned, they should just be eliminated. They fail to see the bigger picture in that you are allowing the government to decide what products you have available to you, often based on nothing more than a suspicion of possible harm.

Heck, I still think they need to bring lawn darts back myself! :D

OMG the Cheetos thing. I despair I really do. Well, we need self sustaining habitats like the Biosphere 2 to open with a very severe IQ test and you promise to dissociate from the rest of society, I mean apart from a few infusions of oxygen (or was it water filtration that had the issue I can't remember) where normal people can like, play lawn darts, eschew the media and live as we please.

I just feel sorry for the poor soul who has to remain outside and guard the idiots and make sure they don't add Gatorade into the sphere instead of water. I am NOT volunteering BTW.

Also any good rapper worth his salt should have vomited blood before he hit 20 in my opinion. That gentleman must have led a very sheltered rap life indeed. I mean most of them would have been like, "This is clearly my hot Cheetos and dang later I'm going to rap me up some fat licks about it and etc.," instead of like calling 911.

I suppose it's a good thing really in the rap world if he was like, worried about it and OH YES I may be stereotyping rappers but I can pretty much guarantee that some of their earlier counterparts would have known.

I apologize in advance for this post, but that makes me so mad, the idea of banning Cheetos, I like them as it happens but it's more the idiocy involved....
