Is flavored-zero-nic legal? Prolly varies by state. But if it is, they could sell that separately, and say, up to 36mg/ml or whatever the legal limit is for unflavored nic. Separate sides of the shop, of course. ;)

So not "shots" but two types of liquid? Or is that still illegal. If so, they're outlawing zero nic liquid. Which is even dumber.

I'm sure vendors will try workarounds like this for a while, and the politicians will keep passing new regs. Whack a Mole. But we are talking about small businesses with small profit margins. It won't take many whacks to finish them off.

The way I understand it, and I could be wrong, only "tobacco flavored" e-liquids may be sold after a flavor ban. Probably doesn't matter if it has nic in it or not. Again, it may vary from state to state as you mentioned. (some states may allow menthol as an an acceptable flavor)

I had read that potential loop holes to the new flavor bans might be either "flavor shots" or a "nicotine shots" could be used. Sold on the premises, but could not be actually opened/mixed in said premises. Doesn't look like this idea is going to work.

From my understanding, the FDA declared in the deeming that 0 nic e-liquid is "tobacco product", as the intended use is to be used in an electronic cigarette. Someone correct me if I am wrong and if that applies in this issue.

Honestly, Bad, I'm tired of trying to figure out what the FDA deems to be a "tobacco product." Pretty much anything they want, really.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master—that’s all.”

Strip Mall with one Vape Shop selling unflavored and, two doors down, a Candy Shop with lots of cake\candy flavorings and a few candy molds for good looks.
This might work out, as long as the two purchases are from different businesses. Not sure how much sense this would make from an economical business perspective as the second business would have to be compensated for the "product space" the flavorings would be using.

Pretty sure that vapor products will have an additional sales tax added on when all is said and done. It may well cost more to vape than to return to smoking cigarettes, which is probably the intention of the government from the get go. Gotta replace that lost MSA money somehow, right?

Maybe we can get the Russians to do a meddling campaign. You know, memes 'n stuff. ;)

Like "Wow, I'm really getting to appreciate how these tobacco flavors taste. The subtleties! Burly, Virginia, etc.
I think I'll try cigarettes next!"

and

"Well, since it's tobacco anyway, I guess I can smoke AND vape!"

Etc. Etc. Etc.

Just plaster FB with it.

And I ask again, are tobaccos that have non-tobacco flavors in them (whether they are added flavors or flavors from infused tobacco) considered tobacco or flavored?

If in reference to tobacco as like an actual tobacco in a cigarette, not a liquid, flavored cigs have been banned for many years other than menthol.

Only in cigarettes. Not in pipe tobacco or cigars.

I would have thought they'd wait until after the outrageous nicotine taxes had been passed into law.

BTW, something about that picture looks odd I realize you're an electrician, not a plumber, but the toilet is missing its tank. ;)

Exactly why I recently ordered a third liter of 100mg/ml nic to to go into the freezer. I now have more than a theoretical lifetime of nic on hand.

Nah you can flavored cigarillos here in most flavors you want (those tiny, vile cheap cigar things.)

I always wondered who wanted those things until my stoner son (yeah, yeah he's a medical MJ user who sometimes still acts JUST like a stoner the two are not incompatible, actually and I am sure he would have been a stoner anyway, not that I care.... Provided you are functional) used to get all excited about buying them and rolling blunts. I pointed out a more expensive cigar would not be as gross, which agreed with, but he also pointed out he could get like a 6 pack for like 5 bucks. LOL.

I can't think of Swisher Sweets without also thinking about high school Friday nights at the drive in with Boone's Farm, Busch beer and pulling over to throw up on the way home. Good times.
We used to pee on the back fence at the drive-in and try to spell our name. :)
