I was at 3.7. I even went down to 3.4 and it didn't make a difference.

hmmm, you rarely hear of burnt taste without over heating or an initial mistaken dry burn anymore on these things so i don't know what's going on there.

i keep saying i'm gonna equip myself with a drill bit... the 1.5 i06 that i have been using is tightening up more; i looked at the holes and they are tiny.

The two small air inlet holes to increase air flow. Start with one and if needed do both.
