Switched, just some food for thought, I see your running the HV's on your p18 ( Great unit ) I use to run them at full charge with 2 x AW LiFePO4 Batts all the time, however as of late I have knocked down to 5.7-5.8v with all of Issacs HV Atty's and seem to be getting a bit more flavor and longevity out of the HV Attys then running them at the 6V. I can only take an educated guess on why I'm getting better performance but the -.2-.3 increment downward adjustment seems to be making a difference for me with these on my VV mods.

This thing sounds awesome! I can't wait to get one of these. I have been contemplating the switch from 510's to 306's for a little bit...

I wonder if one of the fittings for the 306 DCA(when it's released) will fit on this. I know this has the 510's diameter, but the DCA is supposed to have different sized fittings. (Not really asking, just thinking to myself.)

BTW is there a chart comparing the pro's and cons of 510 vs 306? All I have found is 510 vs 901 vs 801...

You are probably right but yesterday I knew I needed 6V with all the drinking that was going to go on, plus we were outdoors which require extra boost. :)

I think I may be on my own here, but mine leaks pretty consistently when I top off with 3 drops using the HV version at various points between 5 and 6v. I don't think that I'm over dripping because I usually don't re-up until I start getting a dry hit which is very noticeable.

I have the LR version too which I haven't tried yet, so I'll have to tinker with that and see if maybe I just got a bit of an off unit.

SlotheK,
I know these atomizers are prone to becoming hot very quickly. The dry or burnt taste may be coming from an overheated atomizer rather than just a dry one. Let it rest a couple minutes and take a drag. If it has a dry taste add 3 drops and let it rest for a minute more. Then try vaping again and see if you still have leaks if you have not tried this already. This is the solution to ~90% of all my atomizer problems.

I'll have to try that, I'm a bit of a chain vaper for sure. After making that post, I unwrapped the LR version, and so far no leaks, but this one does have that horrid soapy/perfumey taste, which the HV version didn't. Guess I shoulda cleaned it first, instead I'll just out stubborn it :)

Because I use a cone with mine it is hard to tell if the unit was leaking or not, considering my state on Saturday. My set up allows for quite a bit of condensation build up between the cone and the unit (which is a relation with the relative humidity). They are juice hogs however which is to be expected from any atty at 5V +.

Sunday morning there was quite a build up of liquid/condensation in the cone and it was not just condensation. However my LR does not leak. I will have to conduct another test at 6V (without refreshments) and see what is what. Regardless very few atties don't leak especially when over dripped.

I am glad I acquired these :)

Need some help ~ I have 2 HV i06 and 1 LR i06. the first HV had the "taste". Tried to vape it out and ended up putting on 6v pv and Pop. So I soaked the other 2 in Vodka for 1 1/2 hours, blew them out, dried and filled the other HV and it's still there. I don't have a ultrasonic cleaner, what next?

i really like these, I use them at 5.5 volts and the taste and vapor production are great. However as i use them more i realized the leak a whole lot....

I will buy more when available but i hope the leaking problem gets fixed, because these attys have the potential to become my number one atty but i dont see that happening if they continue to leak.

the ikv hv 510 is my goto atomizer

No leaking here with the 4 lr's I've got in use. 2 were extremely hard to vape, and unusable... Meaning they felt like the air intake hole and/or center hole are "clogged". (Didn't want to screw around poking the atty with anything and screwing up the coils so I just sat those aside) The other 4 are perfect imo... Ready for another order for sure. The flavor of sweet juices with the lr and a fresh aw imr 3.7v batt (4.2v) is fantastic. I have a strong feeling these will be my new go-to's...:2cool:

I was using the first one on one of my Darwins. That one metered out at 3.8 ohm and was set at around 9 watts which would be around 5.8ish volts. The second metered at 3.6 ohm and I had it on the Provari set at 6v.

With both I blew out, gave 5 drops of juice and let it sit for at least 30 seconds, then a couple more drops before use and would re fill with 3 drops until they died. I haven't bothered to meter the third yet since I haven't started using it.
