Janet, It's a REALLY good saw. A "Cabinet" saw is designed for cuts with such precision that they are used to build fine furniture and are of such quality that when treated right and maintained properly they become heirlooms and can be passed down several generations. I definately plan on using it in the future so II think I am going to hang on to it. If I did sell it I would definately want to replace it at some point and that would be VERY expensive. It's big, takes up a lot of room and I was thinking of replacing it with something more portable but, have decided against it.

Ah Ha. That explains a lot. Well, since you're planning on using it in the future, but are short on space, would it be worthwhile to rent a storage unit? That way it you'd still have it and could bring it out for a project without having it in your way the rest of the time.

Unc, Some good Zidaco please. I've heard lots but don't know who plays good stuff. Thanks (You do take requests, Right?)

Although Zydeco seems to be well represented around these parts, I am particularly fond of Nathan Williams and the Zydeco Cha Cha's ..

and, Buckwheat Zydeco in this case also featuring Dwight Yoakum and David Hidalgo from Los Lobos .. "Hey, Good Lookin' " was always destined to get the Zydeco treatment .. Hank Williams definitely had a good dose of Cajun gene ..

Everyone have a great day! I'm off to another GD's home with Cheyenne, for pizza, shrimp cocktails ,cookies and Euchre!

But first...I've got an urge to make some deviled eggs to take over there...
Sounds like fun!! I know y'all will have a great time. I've been doin some euchre against the bots, but on a weird site. Even with firefox, pogo won't let me on, but maybe amy can figger it out. I sorta have the basics, but am definitely lacking in strategy. Need to play it with people who can tell me if what I'm doin is good or dumb lol

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Here we go .. I would be remiss in not mentioning my love of Tex/Mex .. or Tejano .. really a mix of German Polka/Mexican/Louisiana Zydeco/Mariachi/Conjunto .. falling between the cracks of Rock, Country and Latin ... all thrown together into a musical stew that just makes the foot tap and the Dance floor becon with an infectious 2 step vibe .. especially if there are some lovely Senoritas at hand or we could say Senior Ritas .. propagated by the likes of The Texas Tornados, Doug Sahm, Flaco Jimenez, Los Lobos, Sir Douglas Quintet, Freddy Fender and many more .. much like the musical equivalent of the Tex/Mex Combo Platter .. in my youth, I grew up in San Antonio, where the big Dance Halls were the best place to experience this true roots music .. gone are most all of the Dance Halls, but the flavor of this most excellent music remains ..

and don't even get me started on Texas Swing, another sub-genre that is just flat out great ..

Harry Choates, arguably, was the nexus of Cajun / Western Swing having penned what could be considered the de-facto National Anthem of Louisiana ..

I love all the music and have danced to most of it, but....that last one had me seeing Randall dancing with the ladies in my mind.......
