Well, I finished my first week at work. It was great! But, now I'm nervous that I may have worked myself out of a job. I got so much more done than the shop owner expected that I may quickly end up with an even more part-time job than originally expected. His backlog is quickly disappearing.

So, I'm already thinking of new projects to work on that would help him.

I walked a whole block this morning, and I could have easily walked more. Next time, I'll try 2 blocks. I haven't been able to walk like that for a very long time. For the last year or more, I've had to stop and rest every 15 or 20 feet whenever I walked.

I'm so used to the smell. It's part of my routine.

I'm pretty hurt right now. Before all these clouds and rain moved in, we had a spectacular view of the moon right in front of the hangar. It started raining last night. It started again this morning and poured down. It's still raining right now with cloud cover so thick you'd think it was a carpet. I SO wanted to see this event. I've been searching online for somebody that might be streaming it, but our connection is so spotty that I can't get a thing.

So sorry to those who can't see the moon. Last time my nephew went out it wasn't high enough to see over all the trees here. I'm gonna check again after bit. Maybe around 9 or so

Lo and behold, 'bout half hour ago we got in lil' break in da cloud cover! It's not totally clear, but I can easily monitor da progression. 'Bout 3/4 in da shadow now.

Oh how I enjoy celestial events!

Complete cloud cover here.....no trees to block the view, but nothing to be seen in the sky

Da clouds swallowed da moon at 'bout 90%. Using my binocs I could easily see da 'blood' color... very interesting!
