Depends on what brand of English you use. I spent a disturbing amount of time figuring out what a "car park" is.

I moved in back in June when he had his heart attack. Which I still hate to think of what could have happened if I had not. I was so lucky to be with him when he had his stroke. It's nice going home. I've lost weight, doctor had to cut my BP meds down, I'm sleeping, and my nerves are the best they have been in many years. So yeah as far as I am concerned. . . it's permanent.
Thank you and yes, he is pretty happy to be home. I'm just happy to be in my pj's all day. Back to fixing 3 wonderful meals a day and of course, he's already been eating his blueberry cobbler and ice cream.
Dad has his first outpatient therapy in the morning. Can you believe they made it so I had to be there by 7:30. grrrr They darn sure better not expect me to do these exercises with him at that time of day.
Kay, I love the place and hope it all goes through. I lived in a mobile home before I got married and loved it. OMgosh, I loved the sound of the rain back then. Not so much now.
Sorry I haven't been participating much. Had something bothering me that has got me in such a hole I don't want to see anyone talk to anyone go anywhere even open the curtains. Just can't get it out of my head and it's driving me nuts. Will try to be better but don't know how to do that. Not medical really or financial or marital just something I have done to myself over a long period of time with the help of my doctors.
Aww...I'm so sorry about this! Apologies aren't necessary at all! Whatever it is, I know everyone here is pulling for you!
I WISH I could get away with not driving for that long!! If there was public transportation near my home, I would use it for sure. I HATE driving in this town. Idiots abound here and the traffic layout sucks.

Not so much now.The sun came out today but my body did not get the weather update cause it is still thinks it is raining. grrrr Tell me again why they call these the "golden" years.
HA! You don't have to do the excersizes with him, just watch what they do & get him to do afew at home here & there durng the day. If you see him having problems even years from now these are to same exercises that will will help him maintain strength & co-ordination. These are the same ones I try to get my mother to do but she won't, so she just sits & gets weaker & weaker. Good news on that front tho. I mad her really mad & she's been getting out & going places with her friends again, which is great for her physically & mentally.
Oh Legs! What can we do to help? You are such a bright light here, & such help to those of us who hesitate to try new things. You always take the lead in new things here, you get all the info, read the other threads & bring it back to us! Now get your *** out of that hole! We love you!
